Ambient musician looking for jobs. Posted February 23rd, 2012 in Collaboration

Yo what's up guys, it's been a while I've been around this site, and for ages I've been wanting to make music for games and/or animations, etc...
What I'm looking for are serious game designers or groups of game designers that are ready to work (seriously) on a collaboration.
I make mainly ambient music (as hinted in the title), as well as electronic music (but I have better experience in ambient than in electronic).
If you guys are interested in making a collab with me, you can contact me via PM or by mail (ogotu@hotmail.com)
If you wish to check out my music, here are three main links to examples of my music:

My latest ambient song uploaded on Newgrounds:

  • OG - Viewer Aeries

My Bandcamp page:

Thanks in advance for any response/PM, and I'm eager to work with you guys if you're interested ;D
(Maybe one last thing I should mention, I only have one ambient song uploaded on Newgrounds for now, but I'll be uploading some soon. If you want me to send you more links, post a reply or send me a PM! Thanks ;D)

Yo what's up guys. It's been a great deal of time I didn't hang around this site and posted any of my crap (so to speak).
Anyways, if you guys are fond of ambient music you can check out my newest song 'ere on the audio portal. I'll be uploading more ambient songs so if you guys enjoy this one you can check back every now and then.

I would strongly appreciate if you guys didn't downvote if you aren't fond of ambient music, 'cuz these songs are tough to make :|
If you aren't I'm not obliging you guys to check it out but if you are, please do and tell me what you think ;D

If you guys enjoy that kind of music you can check out my bandcamp page (ogotu.bandcamp.com), where there are two albums: one of which contains only ambient music, and the other containing a mix of ambient and electronic music.

Thanks in advance for your constructive critisicm, and I'll see you all later :D

The Musicians Corner Posted March 16th, 2011 in General

Hello World! I'm currently creating a forum about music. Now this isn't your go-simple "Audio" forum on the Newgrounds BBS. What I mean is that this is a real big forum specialized in music.
The forum ranges from simple music discussion where you can talk about your favorite bands and/or songs, to an archive where you can share your own tracks within a proper genre (i.e. Post-Rock, which Newgrounds doesn't have!). You also have a special "Arena" where music challenges are proposed to you and an Off-Topic section where you can chill with a can of coke and lol while playing forum games.

You can access this forum here!

This isn't exactly promoting, but it's just sharing a wider range of posting choices than a simple topic.
Now click the link above and fulfill all your music needs!
(If you're looking for me, you can find me under the username "Vince". See you around!)

Working good. Take a look at it.

Nayhan, could you maybe also put me as a musician? I see you don't have many and I make pretty good music (not saying i'm Rig or ParagonX9 or anything, just saying I can make pretty good music for a game).

Enjoy it! :D

Simply check out the music I've got on my profile, as for the music I'm working on, I'm working on a demo for people to listen to, but appart that, I prefer not posting the music on this site before this feature game comes out (for more or less reasons). You might preferably check out "Nobashi", as it's my only 8-bit song.

8-bit medieval RPG soundtrack Posted November 29th, 2009 in Game Development

Hey,
I just wanted to post a quick thing on this forum to ask someone to join me by creating a game that would go with a soundtrack I'm currently working on.
This soundtrack consists of 8-bit medieval RPG-ish music and I think it would fit an RPG perfectly. Of course I am asking for someone who has sufficient experience on flash, meaning someone who wants to join, but can't exactly do an 8-bit arcadish game, then sorry... but I won't exactly want to go along with you.
So I'm asking YOU, dear flash artists, if ANYONE would want to join me by making this RPG and collaboration, come true! >:D
If you think you are ready, if you think you're cut out for this assignment, then RESPOND NOW, to this thread. I will give more information for those who are interested.

To the dearest flash artists on this website.
Ogt2.

Hey Newgrounders!
I've been trying to put my website online. I've made the design for it, bought the domain name (ogt2.com) but now I can't put the .html file online, because i have problems using FTP and can't find a suitible tutorial.
I would really like to put my website online as soon as possible, so if anyone can help me or tell me how to do it, I would be very thankful.
Thanks in advance to anyone who could help me.

Its really bugging me, and I know its probably not anything stuck underneath the keys. And yeah the PC has been a little bit slow lately too, do you think I have a virus?
Please help me NG :D

(And im on a different PC at the moment, thats how im typing)

Well, I'm not a professional, but I can guess either you have a virus, either your keyboard needs fixing. If your keyboard is new well I guess it's a virus, but once again I'm not an expert.

Well, I don't do that to adults too. I shake hands with adults, but a tcheck with buddies.

Response to: If Your Keyboard Was Blank... Posted May 27th, 2009 in General

Well, I guess it could be annoying at first, but then it could be pretty funny when you get used to it. Actually while typing this I'm kinda practicing. Yeah, I guess it could be funny. I might do a flash movie about this one of these days.

Response to: Wide Layout Posted May 27th, 2009 in NG News

Yeah detergentine, I totally agree with you. There should be account options that can toogle the old and new style, because I got too used to the old settings and I hate this new one, because when I start a flash movie (or game), lots of problems:
1. The movie (game) stays blank.
2. The movie (game) doesn't load.
3. My internet crashes.
4. My browser quits.
5. The pop-up button doesn't even work.
6. The night button makes the whole internet screen darker except for the flash.
7. The screen is then too wide.
Tom, I really hope now that you can make it possible for us others who preferred the old layout to switch back to the ol' stuff.
Please Tom, fix this chaos or you "might" lose a large part of the NG community from this website.
Sincerely,

Ogt2

Haaay, why didn't you put me up there? I told you I was gonna do the expressionless face :(

Response to: ..::the Ng Smiley Collab::.. Posted May 3rd, 2009 in Game Development

Hey 45Percent,
I'm glad to be part of the collab', so here's which face I'm gonna use as the main character: The expressionless/neutral face, which will be part with the shouting one. Thanks again!

-Ogt2

Response to: ..::the Ng Smiley Collab::.. Posted May 1st, 2009 in Game Development

10 seconds? Kinda short don't you think? Well anyway I noted the size and all. Wait, can I do an animation with both the expressionless and shouting face? I just had an idea which could include both, in one animation... But I think 10 is short.
Well, keep me updated.

-Ogt2

Response to: ..::the Ng Smiley Collab::.. Posted May 1st, 2009 in Game Development

Hey again! So I was thinking, maybe I could do part two for either shouting or expressionless (both are next to eachother :P ) but not both because I don't think I will have much time.
Thanks in advance. Oh, and send me a PM if I'm included with details on how long it should be, size, etc...

-Ogt2

Response to: ..::the Ng Smiley Collab::.. Posted April 5th, 2009 in Game Development

I'd like to animate a story for either the neutral 'expressionless) face or the wounded (beaten) face. Is there still room for this? If so, please keep me updated.
