yes, part 7 and 8 are needed, and that does sound like a good plan strongbow, though if you were planning on it falling through on the word fantastic each time, i think it's a little too slow for an infinite fall, but who knows :P could be a huge fall.

sounds a little dubious to me, i think finding people who are certainly up for doing a high quality part and fast is the main priority, if Peglay can do a part quick and get it in then that's good, if not, someone else will do it for him.

ok, no probs, thanks for trying, and yeah i want to see it finished soon too, I can't really take that extra part as I will be busy doing a music video for a band over the next week or two. Maybe we should contact some of the people that came on earlier when the collab was full.

Thanks, but i think it's probably best if you didn't, that would be three parts, you'd be taking over :D as i said before i can do another, but it's always better to have more people involved, especially if they're good, and you know what they say: 'All's well that ends with lots of different artists collaborating to make something dead good'

Yea, are they good at flash? :D there were a few that posted here asking to join when it was full but they hadn't posted any flash work on NG so i don't know how good they are :S the people i know i have already asked and they're all busy.

hmm, well if you want i can easily do a part, i have the portal turret animated and i really want to put that in somewhere, cause it took me a while :P also, i have my portal flash i did a while ago, i can take bits from that or use that style if necessary. Just if we want this collab finished sooner rather than later. Anyway, thanks Zairex for finishing your part and changing it a bit. I would bump but i guess it's doing fine at the moment xD

yea, that would be cool, the warehouse thing that is. You could add some other test subjects slowly going towards the cake with a knife, and a party hat? Just an idea xD

Awesome, kk, I'm not sure if it needs a preloader game, but after seeing the file size i guess it might do :D not even all the parts are here yet :P now about the menu and stuff, do you want me to get it all into working order? You can send it me and i'll send the buttons to the right place, if you want to do it i guess that's fine, it just means sending a huge file over to you and it might be a bit fiddly and take a while to figure out what's going on :P

This is the first collab i have ever organised, or indeed taken part in, so I'm not really sure how all that stuff works with who does the menu bits, but I'm experienced in the scene select and menu stuff so I'm willing to do it, i have hardly anything to do with this collab atm :P

it's hega mella awesome! one thing i would say is that the jump doesn't work properly when you jump as a speech bubble is appearing. However, you can chop downn trees! Zomgzgipops! It's like crysis for flash. Hehe, yea it's a really good game, keep working on it, little smoother animation just to make it more fun to play would be good, think of FPA2, the controls are just so fun that you don't really care about the story or anything. Keep it up, let me know when it's done if you please :)

thanks, i've just got a free .swf to .avi converter, which worked and i uploaded the video to youtube, then watched it though to check and it turns out it renders it frame by frame and nothing can go infront of it, the start bar appears half way through then it goes blank with a screensaver lol. I'm trying it again now, if it doesn't work, i will try the .mov technique. thanks :D

Ok, i just finished my new flash 'colours' which makes heavy use of Vcam, or something similar. Basically, a movie clip that moves around and acts as a camera within the stage. Without this, the effect would pretty much be lost. However, i would like to upload this to youtube, is there a way of doing this well? I have tried exporting as .avi and the vcam didn't work properly. It was just showing a sort of cropped image moving around. Any suggestions or other ways of getting it on youtube? I even tried uploading .swf, youtube didn't like it very much.

Just in case you haven't seen yet, the finished thing is out!
