Yeah, the parts are all done now, it's just linking the menu up (Souled?) and the easter egg is Syndrome is still wanting to do that. It may be up for the new year.

I have put all the parts together, but not the menu yet, souled is doing that. I'm not sure if I need to send the stuff to souled, or if he's sending the menu to me, but we need to get all the parts in first.

Also, I think the most important thing for this game is that it is easily playable, by that I mean it should be great fun to play, and something you can just jump straight into without having to tweak settings and choose names and all that sort of stuff. It should be something people can just have fun with and enjoy. I was thinking, as it is part of the story in the colours cartoon, that the aim could be collecting some sort of item, maybe balloons or something, that gradually turn the world more colourful, perhaps you have to colour each level by finding and collecting all the balloons. Just an idea.

ok, I will split the costs 50/50 but to be honest, I don't know how you get money from an animation, and I never have done :S

Also, I was thinking of the game being a platformer, in which you have to collect items, for example, the tower part in my cartoon where there was a lift taking the guys up to the orb etc, you could be collecting things like that. Also, maybe it could be co-op if we get around to it :D but yes, platformer was what I was going for, whether it's simple mario style or collecting a certain number of items, etc.

just letting you know that I also posted this on flash as I noticed that actionscript posts should be kept to the flash forums. Also, it will probably get more attention on there :D

Here's the thing, I know it would be successful because of how many people have asked for it in game form. The problem is, I don't have a clue about programming games, and it seems like quite a tough system to program? Anyway, what I want to know is, are any of you up for the challenge? I need a good programmer to make colours into a game, I will provide all the art and animation necessary. You won't get payed or anything, but it would certainly get you some good reputation on newgrounds and it should make a really good game, if it's done well.

Anyone?

I would say just excagerate and make her look ridiculous. Then it doesn't need to look realistic.

yo, the first one is pretty much identical to the one I'm using at the moment, the second one is much cooler though, we should use that :) Souled is in charge of the menu though so maybe you should contact him, he can sort out the easter egg thing if he wants. I can always do it if not. Nice work! :D
