I thought that the descriptions were kinda funny so long as you know not to take them seriously.

Best NOT to use voice clips in general, because they are usually immediately suspect for copyright violations. (And a majority of famous voice clips ARE copyrighted).

AFAIK, I know of only ONE famous series of voice recordings that are NOT copyrighted in any shape or form, and those are the audio and film clips from the NASA Apollo missions.

I did not know that, and I do my best to stay away from copyright. Thanks for the heads up, Deck. I'll just have to write my own tidbits and check out some of the voice actors on here, then :D

Looking for a website/websites with a large archive of downloadable voice clips, preferably notable ones, such as speeches or interviews. Hoping to incorporate it into my music. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I would highly suggest looking up the reviews and the such for your programs, but also looking at video tutorials. Those are probably the best way of figuring out if a program is right for you. It could be the greatest DAW in the world, but if I can't understand how to use it, I might as well be using baby's first keyboard.

Composer looking for projects Posted February 8th, 2013 in Collaboration

This is my first post here on the forums, and I was referred here by one of my bandmates. I compose a lot of electrona music in my spare time, and he suggested I see if any one was willing to work on a project with me. My band camp is here, with a lot of my older tracks. I'm still practicing, but willing to work for only credit, depending on the project's size. Feel free to post here, pm me, or what have you. I look forward to replies!
