Great, looks like we have a few people who like the idea :P To the previous two posts - is there any particular aspects that you can be a little more specific about? What is it within algebra that you struggle with? And what is it you need explaining about bonding? The differences between them or how they are formed?

I'd likw to use these two :D

I'm thinking of making a series of interactive tutorials on Flash for anyone that needs help at school. I'm 14 and I do alright for myself at school, so I was wondering if anyone was stuck on any particular topics at school? If you do want help with something, please tell me. I'd love to start compiling some tutorials for anyone who needs help.

If you would like something included in Schoolstruck, reply to this, or PM me.

I live in England, and I have no idea how much the American curriculum differs from our own, but hopefully I can still be of some use ;)

Much easier said than done though.

I do tell myself before I sleep that I am falling asleep and try and convince myself to lucid dream. Never works though. I'll check out those two links now. Thanks, guys!

Lucid Dreaming. Posted June 21st, 2010 in General

Can anyone give me tips on how to lucid dream? Do you guys often lucid dream? I've only ever had 2....

Lucid Dreaming is where you are aware that you are dreaming and can control what you do or even what is happeneing in the dream.

Does no-one see the irony here? Lots of none metalheads have just entered this thread and started stereotyping and grouping metalheads under a very negative banner. I don't know a single - literally - metalhead who fits the description. I understand what you mean, but whenever I talk to people about my love of metal, those into r&b, rap and such immediately cut me off and start going, "Metal is just screaming down the microphone" and wander off doing (crap) impressions of screamo, effectively fitting themselves to your description. I'm somewhat of a metalhead and I will listen to anything from classical to math metal, apart from the bit in the middle consisting of pop, rap, r&b and such. IMHO, it gets repetitive, but I can see the appeal to others. You, by creating this thread and giving the responses you have, have completely just turned the OP's descriptions onto yourselves. Just read this thread back to yourselves people. You're being just as narrow-minded as you claim 'all metalheads' to be.

Also, you may want to post a bit of your lyrics so people can tell if they're as good as you think they are. Nobody will really commit or even really show much interest without knowing what they're getting into.

When I told him I wanted to have a go he PM'd me the lyrics, so it's not all bad ^^

Now have FL9 at one house and FL8 at the other. So I can make the musics 24/7 X) X)
Listened to Vader. Tbf, most metal I write is more melodic then Death Metal, so you may want to get someone else working on this as well, but I will try my hand ^^

I posted an audio about a week ago and I've forgotten what I named it XD. I was just wondering, do you get notified if Audio is removed from the Portal? And also, will the 'Latest Audio Submissions' automatically appear on my profile page once my audio is approved, or do I have to edit profile? Thanks.

Rules for next time: Has to change key at least every 'X' bars or something? Maybe your piece has to contain at least one of every note...

Response to: Death Metal request Posted June 10th, 2010 in Audio

I love writing metal and rock songs. It depends what you mean really, I have my own particular styles and what I'm good at.... Can you just give me some examples of songs or bands that you're aiming for?

Response to: Exquisite Corpse 3: Less Is More Posted June 10th, 2010 in Audio

Is there a time limit on this? I would like to experiment, but I don't have any constant access to FL8, I would preferable like a few days on this, but for a few days, I would need to be able to send this in by next weekend (as in the 19th.)

Also, when you say key of F Major, does that give absolutely no lenience to straying from notes outside of the F Major scale?

Thanks!
