How would i have a confirmation if i never went to Church? You don't quite get how Church works do you? I went to Catholic School from Pre-K to Forth Grade and have friends that still do. First off, why would i ever be in an catholic church, at a confirmation, and not know jesus existed? And i'm not fucked. They'd realize that you haven't been educated in the church's teachings and probably offer to sign you up for a class if you'd like. And Confirmation doesn't give you any sort of benefit except being able to be married in the Church. Or being eligible for Priesthood. Hell, if i didn't even know Jesus existed, i probably wasn't even baptized.

And as for the whole Machine thing. The modern christians didn't invent everything about the church. An inventor is able to explain his invention because it comes his mind. He knows it in and out. Who else knows it better then him? Who better to write the manual? Of course someone that's going into something they didn't invent is going to be fucked without some sort of learning material. But why an inventor need a manual that he wrote for anything beside a manuscript for further publication? The person using the machine may need some instruction. But never the maker.
