Awesome day! DBZ and mayo were both fricking sweet
Clogged Tubes surprised me. worth a watch
Didn't have the patience to play Hood ep 2, but the art looked cool
Anyone know if there's a way to set up what the default properties are for new projects?
Like frame rate and canvas size

Really, i think so.
Eh? I mean there was no daily top post for the 11th of October.
Forgot to clarify, spesificly talking about the NG ads
Is there any way to stop your flash advert playing one of those annoying full screen video adverts?
I've got a short flash I want to put out and I don't want people to spend more time watching the ad than watching the movie.
If there's no way I'll just have no ad, but seems there really should be a way.
Hey all,
looks like I'm gonna be way more busy than I originally thought these next few weeks would be. And I don't think it's fair for me to make you guys all have to wait again, so I'm dropping out.
I really didn't want to cuz it's been amazingly fun, and I know it might be dicky, but it'd be more dicky if I just have to drop out later instead.
Murdraa might win anyway, so may not be necessary, but I don't wanna be the dick who wins and says "I quit" after.
Anyway, really sweet contest! Gonna have fun listening to how it all turns out
Hey all, I've sent my final verse into big red.
Just wanted to say sorry to everyone if I've held up the comp. I ended up having a really busy week or so, so it's been tough to get the time between things. Thanks for holding on
The contest is kicking ass so far! I've been listening to the battles and there are some sweet rappers on here
I sure like Moustaches
Nice to see so much original content in the weeklies!
'grats all round!

I put you on my g-spot, Timmy!

I'm flattered, but must disagree. Black Swan was a fantastic film
I've been coming to Newgrounds since I was 12, and let me tell you, I can't say how honored I am to come 5th in the monthlies!
Thanks everyone who voted :DD (Unless you voted for someone else. Then you can die for your decision)
I loved Northern Incident. And Redminus and Johnny Utah's toons were _gorgeous_ and kicked ass! Honored to be among you awesome guys!

Thought I'd throw down ;D
Sorry to be a newb, but I'm kind of confused about the different competitions.
Do people write the raps and make their own tunes, or do they use tunes made by other users?
Is there a contest for producers too?
Basically I love producing, and I'll gladly do up a rap and enter the rap battle if it means I can produce it too.
I know I'm 10 mins late, but it was down to just uploading to NG (I forgot I needed an icon and to write something...), the actual song was done and exported all on time. Will I still be entered in to the competition?
Either way, I'm so glad to have finally entered another of these! :D

Awesome. Picked up some nice stuff.
Thanks, Pigpen!
Toast Scaring Obese Cooks is by far the best theme.
Do it justice and kick some ass, Team Clair Boyd!
Toast is awesome is awesome
I've been using flash for years, but only just realized how awesome extensions can be!
Seriously, if you do keyframed lip syncing, check out Keyframe Caddy if you don't know it already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKIhJlWid bM
Do you guys know of any other good extensions (free or not)?

A new breed of Newgrounds collab is born
I was smart enough to bring a map printed of google images to the meet and some others used it to.I wanted to print off some Google maps but my printer decided to be gay and give me cartridge errors. As always, the main folley of using Google maps is that you have no idea which fucking direction you're looking at to begin with.
Printed out google map + compass = poor man's smart phone.
The meet was seriously awesome! So much fun was had. You guys are a great bunch and you only get greater the more I get to know you!
I finally feel like part of the gang now I've been in on the Karaoke. Defiantly one of the highlights. I wish I could take Bez with my any time I go out drinking in a bar with music.
Serious thanks to cirtic squid for letting me crash with him on the first night when I was without a place to stay and the last train had left. I still can't believe I just happened to see you guys walking past me randomly in the middle of Manchester. And a massive thanks to everyone else who offered to help me out as well!
Virginities lost this Newgrounds meet: First karaoke, first dancing, first night out without a place to stay, first shot, first worm. Saving first first base with a strange man for next meet.
I got videos of a bunch of the karaoke. Might put them up somewhere if they came out any good as long as no one strongly objects.
And hell yes to another man' meet!

Then I feel terrible afterwards.
Shit. I put K.O.L.M. as my number 1 too. Does this mean we cheated our number 1?
I feel so dirty.
Seriously tho, thanks a million everyone who voted! I feel so lucky to have been a part of this!
Sounds awesome! I've been really helped out by taking part in the 24H collabs. Learnt loads and met some very cool people. So it can only be a good thing for more Newgrounders.
It's really making use of the fact Newgrounds has a huge collection of creatives in one place that currently not that many are collaborating.

EXPLAIN TO ME!
I'm all for encouraging more writer projects, but I can't see the set up of having a lead writer going down well.
A lot of animators like to do their own thing and see the telling of the story as part of the craft. Also if you don't like the story you're given then you're kind of screwed.
At 1/4/11 05:56 PM, Luis wrote: we need animator jams. fuck you programmers!
Seconded!
All programmers are fags who sit alone in their room in the middle of the night, staring into a computer for hours and hours rather than having a social life.
...Wait a second
Oh god. So very tired.
