Just looking for some honest feedback.
Hey hey! Skylar here, from the newly formed band : Counterpoint. Let get right down to it, shall we?
One of the major reasons I joined this community is to get some feedback from fellow musicians (so that I may grow) and to offer advice to other (so that they may grow). Well... let's just say, some people do not want criticism, lol.

Hey there, nice attempt! You are new to music so try not to be offended by my critiques, ok?
Your synths are painful to the ear. I could only handle about 10 seconds of this song. Experiment with different tones until your can find something a little more soothing to the ear. If you would like some examples, they can be found in my music. It is not the same style as yours, so try listening with an open mind.
Keep trying. Never give up. Follow your dreams.

Yes this song was truly an attempt at new instrument choices and I must admit I am not too good at making the style that I absolutely hate hearing on the radio. If you turn it off after 10 seconds, then that means you missed out on 3 runs of solos in various guitars. I see that we share the dislike in this kind of music, and maybe I should say if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. I have to admit you are the one and only person who has come out and said "you are new to music" out of the hundreds I have worked for.
and by the way, "screaming guitars" are not meant to be soothing to the ear, hence why I usually don't listen to that style of music.
(OK, WHEW!)
To close off this post I will offer a couple of points where I went wrong in my review and could myself be a little more sensitive...
-I assumed they were new to music
-I mentioned the 10 second thing, I actually did listen to the whole song (I know, I'm tough) lol
-I offered my music to compare himself to. I'm really not egotistical, but it could easy come off that way.
