Sorry my scanner is getting hooked up on sunday i will post
Let's see if this thread stays unlocked until then shall we...make a thread when you can post art, and you must only post original art so no scanning a comic book :/
My suggestion would be trying to get AdSense back...my site has been up for one month and yet I've made 30 bucks with it(stop laughing), the ad companies that offer CPM-based payment have failed me, since you need a great ammount of traffic from them, and even if you get that much traffic you're still better off with making contracts with advertisers or just sticking with AdSense.
I just know that I'm going to get laughted and kicked in the chin for this, but how does one set a DPI on a photoshop file?I've only adjusted the Pixels per inch..not dots :/..is that the same thing?
While I'm not exactly following the....ongoing conversation, I'd like to ask an art question.
Every time I draw in PhotoShop it looks pixelated.I know that this is because thats how the software works, but I've seen some amazingly detailed works and I wanted to know how I can fix this.I've been raising the pixels per centimeter and they are now 4000, and yet it looks unchanged, quality-wise.
I don't THINK it's illegal, but it doesn't seem very good enough for the portal, of couse the quality standart for pixel art could be different, but you'll have to wait for a mod to comfirm.
Not that I support the behavior shown by this guy, but I really think Peryl's link should be removed. And if anything Indians should be rulling America, so Peryl's arguements aren't as valid as he'd like them to be.

That could be fun...maybe
It hasn't been done as a contest, I believe, but overall the idea of making videogame characters in a more realistic manner has been raped from the NES era up to this "casual game" nightmare we live in.
I suggest getting rid of the outlines on the foot, just make it one colour+ shading.Since you went for realistic fur, cartoony limb ends don't make sense.
I think the eyes are fine but the chin just seems too big, maybe I'm just used to girls having sharp chins. Also the shadows on the shoulder and boobs don't make sense, the shoulder has a shadow and a highlight pretty much touching...and if the light falls from the top right corner not both breasts should have a shadow in the middle, pretty good other than that.
I'm really getting into this collab :D Don't know if I'll eve post this one as an entry since it's very cartoony and I don't know if it fits the theme, so could Pox or someone else confirm that it's ok?
Looks like it's pretty obvious attention whoring, just because you slapped a NSFW tag and drew a naked woman, I wouldn't think so if you actually tried making it anatomically correct or atleast chose better colours. It's no secret that NSFW threads are eye-catchers, but do try more.
I read that more than one is allowed so I made a poster for SHIFT 4, since I wanted to keep it as close as possible to the simple colours of the game it turned out like a comic book drawing, still pretty happy with it.You know the drill, suggest, criticize and rip to shreds. Also is there some limit of how many we can make?Since I can go all month like this :P
The gap was intended yes, about the elbow...1) I didn't notice, I guess I liked the smooth elbow design and 2) it's already posted in the finished piece thread so nothing I can do other than hope for the best.
I decided to make it in Photoshop instead of Flash and after working for a few hours got this as a result, the image below is VERY bad quality just so it can be uploaded to NG please check out the one at the high res link.As the rest of the people here, I'm taking suggestions, i think the BG came out nice, but I'd like to hear thoughts on the body.
I'm doing one in Flash and 5/7 inches are way smaller than 1500/2100 pixels so obviously I've done something wrong, where do i adjust the DPI in Flash?
Working in the videogame bussiness is probably the dream of half of the users of NewGrounds.I'm trying to be a realist, and have gotten interested in the only section I could probably work in.So here's a little concept art for a cold-looking planet.
