Happy birthday! I'm still in, but just wondering: is it like separate parts from a menu set up like that Lazy Birthday movie or more like a continuous movie where each part goes automatically into the next one?

And in case anybody is wondering, here's a design for the rifle that most soldiers will have (all the leads, too, although everybody has different back up weapons as well such as pistols and such). This fires as a sub-machine gun. Hey, maybe we can fit a gatling gun in somewhere? Those six barrels, spinning, spinning... Just a stray thought.

As a matter of fact, here's a visual idea I threw around a little bit that may help you guys understand the look of the island. It was, long ago, a community. There were plenty of large trees and greenery, as well as buildings and houses. However, the nuclear explosion came and destroyed much of that. The trees were reduced to ash, as well as many houses. Some buildings still linger, with much rubble and broken bits of houses, but some frameworks and more durable buildings are still around. After years of neglect, vines and plants have begun to grow on top of these buildings, and the plantlife is much unlike anything seen in the real world. The plants are huge scale, thriving on the lack of humans and deforestation. Only strange kinds of "greenery" survive, adapted to survive on radiation (wild colors, not just green plants). In other words, crazy, crazy plants grow here! If anyone's seen "Nausicaa, of the Valley of the Wind", think of that kind of world. If not, watch the backgrounds in this preview for it, especially the beginning. This will not be quite as extreme, but that's the kind of idea.

To answer flareknight's question: this is one of the slower parts of the project, as a script is being written and people are still joining the team. I predict it to truly start heating up once we've got a good bit of finished script, a pretty full team, and some final designs. That's when backgrounds and animations will be wrapping up, and the project will start going. For now, however, it's just going to slowly move on for a while. DESIGNERS! The main things I need you guys to do is to start designing zombies, ghosts, the island, and scenery, as well as the cathedral itself! I'll be sending out PMs to keep you guys informed. If you've got a design that you want to present (it doesn't have to be the best quality) please post it to this forum. I will then comment on it, and other designers will be able to refer to that design and what I've said about it to determine what look we're attempting to achieve. LuXD, I'd appreciate it if you'd post a few of your favorite designs you've sent me on this forum, including the cathedral and the island. :)
