Yes. Abusing your girlfriend is always the ace thing to do.
Sure. It reaffirms societal values and norms, brings communities together in outrage, and it keeps people who run prisons in jobs.

You know, all those arguments would not even be necessary of people who abuse would not be there. I think it would be much better if there wouldn't be need for people who run prisons.

Also, good job at trolling, you're getting exactly what you want.

I agree, us real men are a dying breed.
I have a few friends that are somewhat like this, but I still wonder if they are serious. I can't stand the people in this thread that are defending their position as a badass, because they get more women like that.

Evark is right, however. We can't just sit around and somehow get a girlfriend like they do in movies. It's not like that way. I would stand up for every girl that doesn't have the boyfriend they deserve. Those are too much, sadly, so that's pretty much impossible.

I say we replace all men with clones of people like me.

I don't know. For whatever reason, the Japs enjoy visual novels.

Because I am Japanese.
You should stop trying to act cool and all, and you should really stop generalizing all people.
It's a book. With background pictures. And some people actually like to read.

And what is really sad, is that all people think that people who read this kind of stuff are seen as sad weeaboos that wank over pictures of hot naked drawn women.

Seriously though, most of the time I read them for the story, which is usualli really awesome.
There are sites that bring out English patched, some times accompanied with non-ero options.
So you should try that out.

And a picture.

Is that Shuffle?
If so, there is a group translating it as we speak, and I thought is was almost finished, so you should try googling for them.

Also, does Anon's Nice Day sound like I think it does? I mean, I heard /b/ was creating a VN, but is that it?

Also, I want Ever 17, according to a lot of people that was awesome.

Pen scene anyone?

Seriously, dude.
You go there too, huh.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread. It's refreshing to see a visual novel thread amidst all of the FFVII and Halo shit clogging up the Video Games board. I suppose I'll start coming here more, so that I don't miss these rare threads.

Yeah, although these aren't action filled adventures (although F/sn is pretty good), I still like to read VN's. Why? They're like books, only more interactive. Still playing the routes from Tsukihime (yes, I have that game too) it feels like I am reading the Harry Potter series, it just seems that long.
Wish I could have a real estimate of how long the games from T-M would be, if they were printed as a book.

Also, I can't wait for a translation of Witch on the Holy Night. 2010 it is. Or later.

Yeah, most of you have not heard of them, but actually have played them.

A visual novel is basically a book; on your computer.
I have yet to see a VN that is not drawn manga, so I presume that VN's are only drawn in manga.

Anyway, did somebody ever play one of these? I'm sure I did, and I love them. Lots of great Vn's have already been translated to English, so there's a pretty big choice in them.

So, post.

That is impossible and you know it. Unless you know the wrong specs of your laptop, it is impossible to run Crysis on High on it.

Then again, there are only few computers that run that game on High, and no laptop known to man to run it that fast. So you lie sir, or you are not running the game on High at all. The default is waaaay lower.

Indeed I agree with the OP.
For some reason, the amount of reviews are gaining obsessive amounts. Seriously, I had a few reviews deleted, which I made around one year ago? That is really odd. (Not me, my main account.)

It's helpful right? There is no cussing, no racism, some degree of criticism etc... So why is it deleted? I don't know.

Yeah. Big big deal.

I am in need of a useful program that is able to just open these files. I know Cakewalk Sonar is able to work with them, but I am not spending a whole lot of money to get it to work.

Apparantly, these files are editable with Vienna, but as I expected, I lack a decent soundcard. (It's an onboard nVidia one, no editing, of course). But anyway, are there any other free programs out there that are able to just open and extract the sound files from the sf2 files? I really need one, since most collections of samples come in soundfonts. Or I really have a warped idea of what a soundfont is, whatever.
