New song after a very long hiatus! Knockin' on Your Front Door

I understand if you don't enjoy "classical" music. It's obviously not for everyone. But if you think that all music needs to convey emotion is synth pads, you really need to start listening to some new music. Disrespecting an entire genre of music you know practically nothing about just makes you seem like a close-minded egotist.
I just submitted a Linkin Park parody song. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/9 9694

(Sorry don't know the name and no links.)
It's called O Fortune from Carmina Burana by Carl Orfff.
Other good epic music:
Craig Armstrong - Romeo Must Die Trailer Music aka "Escape"
hope that helps!

Spent a lot of time on this song and yet not too many people have listened to it yet.
one is a collaboration and another is just an ending of a song that i fixed.
Ya. If you don't like logic, you won't like cubase. They are pretty much the same. There is also Motu Digital Performer which some people like and of course, Pro Tools.
I just uploaded two John Cage prepared piano pieces I performed. Tell me what you think.
check out my song "In A Trance"
i thought you were gonna add me to the list. why am i not there?
and i would like to add DJ-StarScream, specifically this song
longest time i have ever spent making a song. took 4+months
finally i got off my ass and finished something. please review it would be much appreciated.

also would anyone object if i uploaded it?
i suppose not.
wow some of this patches are quite nice. ill work on making some sounds and maybe add them in a week or so.
nice work. ya someone should see if they can wrap this up. its about 3min45sec long right now. i think if anyone who hasnt participated already wants to close that will be fine or perhaps one of us could do it.
alright so is this thing gonna get wrapped up or what? i dont see anyone else joining so i suggest someone master the levels and compression and then we send this over to the flash forums to see if anyone wants to make a video for it.
ryeguy,
i believe what you may have done is change drum sounds on one part while at the same time affecting the drums in an earlier portion of the song which is why a lot of the parts sound really weird. i think all the music and sounds are fine. all that needs to be done is making sure the levels and compression is good. right now the mix is really muddy and the parts are not balanced at all. however, i must say, some of the stuff you did was pretty cool and i give you credit for that. I really like your part that you contributed.
i plan to master this song (when i get the time) using the philosophy of preserving the original intent of each artist. i will only change levels and eq/compress and perhaps add some fills to make the mix between the parts work better.
iros,
your deletion of the redrum took away the drums from the first two parts (perhaps others). whatever, i plan on fixing all of this.

thanks. thats quite a nice part you got btw.
ryeguy feel free to master my part as well. what really needs to be done though is adjusting the overall levels of each persons individual part so they match each other.
file factory won't work for me (probably because i have a mac). If someone could upload what has been done on wikiupload it would be much appreciated.
yes do that. i want to see this thing finished.
New to audio? Read this first!
