Just tried it, it didn't work. Still takes me back to the pre-loader (scene 1, frame 1)

ok, i have a menu, when you click the button it goes to the page i want it to, (it goes from scene 2, frame 1 to scene 3, frame 1), now, when you get to this page, you read the instructions, and then you click 'back' to get back to the menu. Now, heres my problem, i've created the button, but when you click on it, it goes right back to scene 1, frame 1. at the moment i've got;
on (release) {
GotoandPlay("2", "1");
}
This takes me back to the first frame. Help please ¬_¬

I have to disagree. Green Day aren't influenced by pop. They would've been influenced by a mixture of original punk and rock. hence punk-rock. Its quite obvious they're NOT influenced by pop.

Yo, i'm sort of a newb when it comes to actionscripting (i can do basic buttons and stuff), so i was wondering, how do you get a character to move when using keys? for example; i want the character to move left when you press the left arrow key, and attack when you press space bar etc. Anyone willing to help?

voice acting wasnt very... sincere... animation was dodgy etc. etc. use 20 fps and fbf if possible. go sticks, mo'fo'!

make the flame into a movie clip, double click it, put in a couple frames of animation, and as long as the movie clip is showing, it'll be moving. If you get what im talking about... (the MC repeats itself automatically, so you dont need to put in a million frames of animation). If you don't understand then... yeah... (The above technique is great for spinning discs. w00t.
