Take it back or die a horrible painful death.

WHY?!

Lowkey has some great tracks, and lyrics, but this? Terrible.

Because generally when you tell a person hey I need a riff for this 'hip hop song' they generally just repeat the same chord over and over or some dumbass shit. Sage is a good artist and you can tell because he knows about motherfucking Nardwuar.
Not 100% on his older shit.

Naah, man. A lot of his older stuff is amazing. Ever seen his battle raps? He never takes himself very seriously and he kills it every time. Plus there's some really good 'rare' stuff out there.

False. Get your ear into the UK underground scene, it's generally much better than the North American shit. (With exceptions, of course)
nah I was talking about accents.

Aesop Rock>BRITISH UNDERGROUND SCENE AS A WHOLE

I agree with you there entirely. Also you have (had) Eyedea. Not to mention Sage Francis.

I hate on nobody. If you see any of my posts, I only defend myself from attacks, but I'm done doing that as well. I'll let my game speak for itself in the competition.

I heard that.

There's been a couple of people call me out in their hypes, but I'm just gonna let my battle verses speak for themselves.

I'm gonna go back over my first part to make it look better, if I finish in time (which it looks like I may well do) then I'll get it to you, otherwise just use the current one.

Decided to post this here instead of making a new thread/searching for fucking ages to find an old one.

What recording software would you guys recommend? Currently just use Audacity, it does the job, but it's quite simplistic. Ideally looking for something with easier/more effective editing. A friend recommended Pro Tools, just wondering if there are alternatives that might be better.

Response to: Learning Bass Posted December 2nd, 2011 in Audio

Honestly, if you already have a reasonable understanding of the guitar you should find bass quite easy to pick up. There is a bit of a learning curve in terms of the fret spacing and string gauge. It might take a bit of practise to get used to how hard you need press on the strings etc., but otherwise most of the techniques are very much transferable.
