Can't say I'm much of a fan of either. Rizzle Kicks strike me as hipster asshats (regardless of level of skill - haven't listened to enough to comment). Dizzee Rascal had some good early stuff, but it's pretty grime. As far as that goes I do like Dabbla (of LDZ - They have a free EP here) and Buggsy, and a couple of others but they don't spring to mind.

Obviously this shit is all subjective, and I'm not saying it was a shitty battle, I mostly just disagree with the method of choosing. It's too similar to those fucking ridiculous 'most likes = best rapper' competitions you see all over Facebook. I'm not going to bother going into why I think that wasn't the best battle because it's sort of irrelevant (unless those involved actually want to know).

These polls don't even increase publicity, in my mind. I mean, Vince's battle won because a ton of his Facebook friends voted, but how many of them even listened to the other battles? Very few, if any, I'd bet.

The problem with having the MCs decide is getting everyone involved to actually vote. Personally, I think having a very small panel of judges (like 4, max) decide is the easiest/fairest way. These 'best battle' things aren't super important, but it's a facet you have to perfect over time.
