Here's a doodle I finally uploaded into flash. This is what I'm hoping the characters will look like while animated...obviously there will be an equally well done background and better aura, but I got lazy haha.

Here's another piece of the comic rough. I put a little more effort into this one, but still not a lot. This is actually part of the 3rd page and the one before it was the second. The first is chicken scratch so I won't even bother with that one.

I'm starting to write the basic comic strip layout of my tribute to Majin Ryan. If you didn't know already, I'm making an episode 5, (and a 6 depending on the file size) of the Majin Vegetto series to conclude it. The actually written script hasn't been finished yet either and I have no idea where to find voice actors for the part. I'll probably just add the lines at the bottom of the screen.

Anyway, here's some updated progress. I'll post two pictures of the comic today and I'll update other pictures and such as time goes on.

Thanks for the critique :D. Yeah..it was suppose to be at a very slightly overhead perspective...gotta work on that, lol. I might have something later tonight to post.

Ah finally, college stuff has been taken care of, I've settled back into the home life and I've found a job to occupy my summer...but more importantly, IT'S ANIMATION TIME!

I've been making idle talk over my years in the crew saying I'd finish an animation, or I have some awesome ideas so expect stuff soon. However, now I'm finally confident enough and willing enough to sit down and physically work at it. I'm to go through with my idea months ago and make a special tribute episode of the Majin Vegetto series; I'll be finishing the story with some classic DBZ action and also bringing some twists into it. It's been 4 years since Majin Ryan's final episode of Majin Vegetto and it left us with an epic cliffhanger, but now it's time to bring it all to a triumphant finale.

I'll also post some miscellaneous DBZ artwork here as well, so expect some soon! :D

I think the typeface is a bit too flashy and difficult to read. I'm in Typography (GD102) now and my teacher would find the "Monster-font" way too much. You should probably try and observe different fonts in either Illustrator or InDesign the portray the appropriate message. Graphic Design/Typography teachers often HATE display typefaces.

JarrodK, I fully respect what you have said and I agree with you 100%, but this is the Newgrounds forum. Understand that people who post have no second opinion; they are likely the most stubborn people you'll ever meet in your lives. When they have an opinion, they're NOT afraid to say it. It will always come up negatively here no matter the reason.

Newgrounds' members shun everything that has to do with Runescape.

I personally enjoy the game and I have for several years. A lot of the stereotypes are true, but I honestly don't mind them. I'm all for just playing the game and interacting with those I feel I'd get along with well.

I'm not here to defend anything, but on Newgrounds, 9-10 users hate Runescape (my opinion). There will always be arguments, just sit back, read and laugh.

Youtube-er's actually have most of the episodes uploaded. Even when they're suspended, more people publish them, so they're often there.

WTF?! What happened to constructive DBZ discussion and where did all these nubs come from?

You know...even after seeing it over 5 years ago and continually watching it, I still can't get over the intensity of the SSJ3 transformation. Whether it be the Toei, Funimation, or the Ocean Group Dub I still can't get enough of it. It's always as if I'm watching it for the first time and still sends chills down my spine.
