while that was dripping stereotypes, i see your point. while most of them actually think that way, they have no basis for politics with their chosen career. they are entitled to think, and would be welcome even here on the politics board.

Let's add to this theme the sports world. Tyrone Lew(I guess that's how his name's spelled) was foolishly asked about the war and what's his response. We have our own war against the Wizards to get that 8th playoff spot. Now who's getting paid more than most likely everyone in this forum and how is this fair?

It's a tough world we live in where entertainment pop culture and athletics warp the themes that are the most important in current times.

i think so.

i suppose so if it was a big deal...the lyrics arouse suspisicions and that's what drug tests are, as long as one can create the warrant

we'd be the Nazi's wet dream if we were copying the Blitz...ours is of a different nature, we're taking Iraq down from the outside with the military and from the inside with underground crime ring connections.

wait a sec, this may be a "war on terrorism" but there's no real declaration of war. What we're doing is combatting terrorism with terrorism.

I haven't heard bad things come from Canada's mouth. If it did talk against the US it doesn't matter because it won't hurt the US's oil deal with them, and Canada cannot afford to lose such a close and easy client.

since when do normal governments keep everything to the public, they're not supposed to. It's supposed to implement three functions: protect the government from the people, protect the government from other governments, and to tax the people. If they're not doing those three, then it's time to wonder what's going on. Form your own opinion.

1984
Art of War
Communist Manifesto
On War
and the list continues.....

let this topic be a place to share your favorite political works and their impact on today's political society. I'm sure it's already been done before.
