And, voila! You can test to make sure your button works by pressing "crtl+Enter". It will load up an internal player where you can watch you movie and test your scripts. No need to load to NG to test anything.

Well, there is the free 30-day trial of Flash. You need an account at Adobe to download it, but it's free as well.

Another alternative would be getting LiveSwif, which is 100% free, but it isn't as good as Flash. It's the most used alternative for those who can't afford buying Flash.
