Im just wondering about getting my first Art Portal submission 'scouted'. I think a mod has to come and approve it or something similar to the Art and Flash portals? I dunno. Anyways I just wana know what the system is about.

Let me know if this is the wrong place for this kinda thing, I didnt know if there were a million "Submission waiting approval" threads already so I came here to avoid any trouble. Im not looking for attention from mods to approve my submission or anything, I dont mind waiting. I just want to know if thats the case. Im guessing theres a bit of a wait anyways considering that the portal just opened up and your probably getting shitloads of new users wanting to submit.

I think this is a great idea, and yes definitley one of the best of its kind. However instead of having the top 15 scoring songs, why not have something where you could click "Nominate this for Judgement Day" or something. That way the 15 songs with the most nominations would go up for voting instead. If you wanted to prevent people from spamming this you could make it so that one could only vote on a song once for nomination...?

haha!!! Ahhhh, the good ol' 5-Team. Those were the days hehe. That was back when all of us young teens were relativley fresh users on Newgrounds, and were all obsessed with getting Top 5 and the like. We had this seemingly amazing idea that would fix 0-bombing once and for all! Ahhh, omg we were so immature haha.

Anyways, dont worry Mr. Thread-Starter, what Mich and Kr1z are saying is true lol. That club died a looooong time ago. The system was flawed, we became a target for 0-bombing, and everyone eventually got bored of the whole thing. Although I thank you for bringing it up again, it brings back hilarious memories haha.

However, I think your looking at it the wrong way. We (in our young innocence) thought we were doing something good for the community, helping others and all that jazz. We werent trying to go behind the scenes and haxorz the voting system or anything. Which is why Maestro supported it. Yes, as people have said, it didnt work, and yes, there's nothing that can be done about the voting system. But we were just a bunch of kids trying to make a difference and stuff. hahaha.

So yeah, dont worry about it. You can investigate all you like, but that was sooooo last year, and everyone's kinda forgotten about it haha.

Are we sure that FL took the loops off him? I would have thought that he used FL's loops in one of his songs, otherwise FL wouldnt be able to make money off those loops by selling them boxed with the rest of the sudio.

Haha, thanks to everyone for their advice and stuff, I've decided to do as liljim says (And NOT just because he's staff...seriously...) and not make a big deal about the whole thing. I'm always honoured when people use my audio in their flashes, and I've even played and really enjoyed the game that my song is in. I don't have anything against the guys that made it, Im sure that they probably overlooked that aspect of the CC licence *cough* and won't do it again in the future.

However, I will send a PM their way just informing them of the situation, and to let them know what should be done next time to keep within the rules. I 100% support flash ads, and think its a great way for authors to gain a little bit of money from their hard work, and the fact that the profit can be split with audio artists is great, just not really worth pushing in this instance.

So sorry guys, no massive e-drama for you this time ='C. If it happens again with a major big-time flash, we can all do the "torch and pitchfork" routine, but for now, Ill just let em off with a wrist/cock-slap and be on my way. As liljim said, they probably wont be making any big $$$ out of it anyways, and I seriously cant be bothered fighting for a couple bucks. Especially considering the sales Ive been making from my CD ^^,
