I am probably the most law-abiding citizen to exist. Never jaywalked, never shoplifted, never smokes, doesn't even know who smokes. Never even been to an illegal website.
Oh, this is classic.

It's like when you're asked what you'd bring to a desert island. A BOAT.

If so, what was it, and did you get caught? I haven't (hell, I'm 13), but have any of you?
Can't you just let them trust you for once? Be responsible, stay in, eat junk, veg out. Do you have to do something you shouldn't?
Crash, Spyro, Ape Escape, Pokemon, Katamari, Super Mario Galaxy, Civilization 4, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Pokemon again, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Favorite games throughout my life (of course, what I have consoles for. I don't own any games prior to 1997.
Put them in shot glasses with rum, put a blindfold over your head, and try to determine what each one is. After five minutes you shouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Nintendo8.com has great NES, Gameboy, and Master Drive games. For SNES, look no further than the Wii store. For early arcade games, they're everywhere. Even Google had Pac-Man a while ago.
It has to be SMG2, but I think Civ 5 will be when it comes out.
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Bigger forums are not always better. I learned that lesson with the Armor Games forums.
It's Microsoft. What did you expect?
Get Crash 1, Crash 2, and Crash 3. And Tomb Raider. And Ape Escape.
Actually, Wii Sports is now the bestselling game of all time. Of course, that is mostly due to the fact that it comes with the Wii.
Not 2000, the entire decade.

Trust me, it isn't as bad as you'd think, it's only bad if you're 50 miles offshore of Louisiana. A thing about the news- THEY OVERREACT.
Wait until Civ 5 comes out. If you can't stand the wait, buy Civ 4.
1. Thou shall watch out for creepy background music. That means enemies are coming.
2. Thou shall sneak into every house he can.
3. Thou shall hook up with three other girls before he gets to the one he has to save.
4. Thou shall run around town three times to find out what the hell he's supposed to do next.
5. Thou shall get bored halfway through the game.
I'd recommend BC2. My friend has it and it's awesome.

Back then people had some art form to provide them entertaining and movement in picture came as a much more satisfying medium. Its popularity grew with its accessibility, both in and out of the movies (let's say, more theatres and wide-audience movies). There are still some "hardcore movie listener", let's say people who dig author's movies and don't mind going in an isolated theatre, but they had to give room to the wide audience over time.
I think we'll see a pretty similar process with video games. The Wii is probably just the first step toward big accessibility. I think it's a natural if not "benefital" (is this the right english word ? ^^) thing, but I do have some concerns though. Video games defines itself as an entertainment experience, which can go much further than our usual idea of a video game. The Wii kinda redefined the experience (or at least suggested an alternative way), but its user also make a different use than what the hardcore gamer usually do. I've always seen consoles as a "mean" to get to games, while casual gamers mostly refer to gaming as "playing wii" instead of playing "wii sports" or "mario galaxy". How many "new gamers" you know actually bought games for their wii, except if they had a son, cousin, whatever that plays a little more ?
The Wii had a very low sell rate on non-wii exclusive games. It can be explained by the fact most of these games are for hardcore gamers, but still, I hardly doubt your mother, grand-mother and little sister bought Mario Galaxy, they probably just sticked to the bundle Wii sports and may be they bought resort or fit. What I'm trying to say here is that I fear the casual gamer might slow the video game production and simplify it to a point a hardcore gamer could hardly enjoy it.
I think there will always be a market for hardcore gamers, but I doubt there's as much benefits to make there than with the casual gamers. It might be hard on the old school gamers :(
Now while it makes sense that gaming would become less and less hardcore, I would expect to see a pattern similar to what is happening right now: A large amount of people playing a small amount of games, and a small amount of people playing a large amount of games. Obviously, Wii Sports has sold more copies than, say, Modern Warfare 2, but when you add other games like Red Dead Redemption and Halo 3, hardcore gamers are still more profitable. Just because television was invented, it didn't mean that movies would stop.
:Instead, I have to put up with cheesy crap like How I Met Your Mother for comedy.
Are you kidding? That show's great.
Coke, definitely. But if I could choose any soda, it would be orange cream.
I still think Civilization reigns as the best strategy game.

I've had my dealings with ladies, but she is different, I think she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, I can't look at her without longing, we have a lot in common and get along well, it's hard to describe because I'm not used to this feeling, which is why I think I can't let it go. Maybe I'm just being stupid, man I'm shaken
If you want to go in an all-out-romantic-comedy plot, try to introduce a hot girl to her boyfriend, and if the boyfriend still stays with his girlfriend, go out with the hot girl.
Nowadays I can't find a single person who owns one and plays it. Everyone I know who has either claims to play it, but hasn't bought a game for it in 3 years and doesn't know if it's still plugged into their TV, or admits to not using it in ages in lieu of a more superior platform like PS3, 360, or PC. Hell, I know a few people that ONLY have a Wii, but actually prefer to play outside and socialize than play that piece of shit.
Well, I only have a Wii and use it a lot. But if you actually read my first post, then you would realize that I was not talking about veteran gamers.
