Faith is basically blind belief. When someone believes something 100% that is when they are willing to save themselves and go to houri, get there 72 virgins, and bomb that family of innocent little infidels.

Posted: 05/10/09 04:01 AM

Forum: Politics

It seems as though modern society thinks of todays youth as a problem to the worlds problems and not a solution. Everything that is fed to them, or us, is all spun, we're lost in a sea of political correctness, never can anyone authority figure simply tell the truth, they have to argue absolutely everything until the truth has been completely and utterly diminished, and we are the generation that has to eat it up. We are the generation that is going to be two sided on everything.

I then entered the water and starting surfing with this other guy. This is by far the most bizarre dream I've ever had in my whole life. What the fuck does this mean?

You do realize that dreams are just glimpses of our unconscious mind's general knowledge and anxiety. Rarely do they have any real meaning, they're just simplified versions of what we already see.

I'm pretty sure that most of you guys haven't heard the awesomeness of Kling Klang. Its basically 3 synth players, a guitarist and a drummer.

This might just be the coolest riff EVER.

Alright-so I save up money for a used version of flash CS3, a wacom tablet, and I want to start making games. However I can't get a good grasp on Actionscript. I understand it, basically, I get the whole idea of variables and stuff, but I can't get any of it down in my memory.

Any help getting started?

I agree with the guy on the first page who made the comment about the unconditional love. Maybe you should get a dog.

That kind of is what it is, the unconditional love thing, I guess. I'm rational, at least, I'm not going to go fuck some random girl, I'm not that stupid, I'm just saying I want to have a baby, I realize its not the right time though. I'm not seriously thinking about doing that.

If you aren't. Do you have a job? Do you have a car? Do you have a place to live? Don't have a baby that you can't take care of. Your parents don't want your baby, her parents don't want your baby. If you aren't ready to change shitty diapers, and feed the thing at 2:00 am don't do it. Otherwise your a shitless nutsac who doesn't get a daddy license.

And no I'm not kidding, in fact I'm really not kidding. No I'm not ready but I want one reaaaaaally badly.

Yeah, I'm a guy (highschooler) , but I'm starting to act like that kind of girl if you know what I mean. That hormonal kind that you're going out with and won't stop talking about how much she wants to get married and have children.

The kind that purposely forgets to take the pill.

Well, I don't necessarily want to get married, but I want to have children really bad. I had a dream about a few days ago and I won't stop thinking about it.

Anyone else weird like this?

Try using this mac-friendly drum machine called doggiebox which as a free version that has less stuff on it but works fine, mixed with garagebands synths, it actually works quite well. Don't but a jackass and drag and drop loops though.

"They weren't goths or loners.
The two teenagers who killed 13 people and themselves at suburban Denver's Columbine High School 10 years ago next week weren't in the "Trenchcoat Mafia," disaffected videogamers who wore cowboy dusters. The killings ignited a national debate over bullying, but the record now shows Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold hadn't been bullied - in fact, they had bragged in diaries about picking on freshmen and 'fags.'"

This further proves that scapegoating Marilyn Manson and video games isn't right. It also turns out that it isn't the gothic, bullied kids who go out and start school shootings, its actually the megalomaniacs.
