My first console was a Snes, back when game stores only sold first-party games and like five shitty movie cash-ins. Unfortunatley I got the Baman Forever game and didn't make it past the first screen before returning it. If not for the AVGN video I would've never found out.

Assassin's creed gives away GS like confetti, and Gears of war isn't too shy either, so gamerscore is sort of biased depending on what kind of game people like, and If I saw somone with a huge GS online i'd just asume they'd have no real social life or something.

From my experience I've noticed there are esentially two genres people like: Fighting and Racing. Racing fans cling to anything with pretty graphics and the Fighting fans cling to whatever less than 50 people on earth have played.
I'm probably being biased here, but I just notice racing fans have little paticence for actual gameplay while fighting fans are closed minded to popluar stuff.

I mean, anything besides sports games with sharp realism ties.

I would define a 'Hardcore game' as something that gives you little to no detail on what you have to do, but in the end you'll be fighting Satan with plenty of juice left. Halo 3 or COD 4 are NOT hardcore. Maybe the players online are, but not the game itself.

To me, hardcore defined as a game is God Hand. Never fucking mind these piss easy FPS's, this game throws you the fuck in with two guys in your face, in a game that expects you barely ever get hit once, waiting at every corner for you to think that 'I got the hang of this' and then throw out a demon that warps across the screen and can land a hit from four feet away. This game punishes you for doing well with level rankings that increase the longer you stay unhit.
I can't beat this game on normal mode. And it calls me a pussy for playing easy. But it's got Rocket
launchers, Wrestling Gorillas, and spanking...

I don't know why zombies are always depicted as slow. Just because they're brain dead doesn't mean they forgot they had fucking legs.

Also, It's probably a lot harder to get infected than the ideal of getting bitten. To actually get infected, the zombie would have to would you and get it's blood inside you, and even if it bit you, the most blood that would enter you would be saliva, unless it was brushing it's teeth really hard.

I got 37 points in one round in Gold Rush, getting the cart from start to finish. (I blame the other team for not using spies or snipers) At the end of the round, the admin console-killed me, the sore loser.
