I just finished Brutal Legend's campaign. I have only one complaint. The final boos, like in gears 2, looks like something that will take forever to defeat and seems utterly impossible. I loved the look of it, and the actual fight wasn't bad, but it wasn't a challenge at all. I know it was the easiest difficulty, but other parts of the game - the previous battle for instance - were much harder.

I'm amazed that although you basically did the same moves over and over during combat, it never got boring during stage battles. Multiplayer is fun, but after you complete the story there's little to do left in the map.

I give this game an 8.75/10 and I recommend this to anyone who loves metal.

Just picked up my copy of Brutal Legend today and it is worth buying. I'm only a few hours into the story mode, but I love this game so far. Jack Black hits Eddie's character perfectly. I have yet to try multiplayer, but this is a great game.

I'm reading The Stand, as I'm sure at least some of you have, and in the complete & uncut edition, page 550, end of the second paragraph.

It's obvious he means true, but I thought it was something of an oddity to see a typo like that so many years after it was first published, and by such an esteemed writer. I can't get a picture of it because my camera blows, but I assure it's there.

I'm so glad I tried the Brütal Legend demo. I knew I wanted it, but now I'm going to pre-order it and get the special guitar. They also could not have casted better for the main character of a metal and rock history game. From what I read in GI this should be a great game.

Kaiz, shut the fuck up. He was doing everything right. If he posts about the portal, it is not off topic. You're PM was a personal attack in my eyes too. You should've apologized and explained yourself if you felt there was a need for a second PM, which there wasn't. We tried to explain to Cal the rules not in effect in the first post of the thread, and after the first couple warnings he was doing wonderfully, in fact, he did everything he was told with more tolerance than I would've had. You went completely out of line with your PM and should take a break and collect yourself, in my honest opinion. I was actually excited about him (which I've hardly ever been about something in a club on the internet). I'll admit I did nothing to help, sure, but I was really glad Cal joined and had a feeling he was going to be a great member and we would have a very good time.

Sorry for the angry rant, but I'm super pissed right now. Cal, again, I'm sorry for what happened and I'm sorry you had to see this.

Right before the first game of the season I hurt my back. Some fucking luck. Anyway, There was only one submission in the Portal today when I checked. I don't know if I should be happy or sad there's not many submissions. The lack of spam is encouraging, but lack of activity isn't.

I think it's a great idea to stop for now, since some mods are getting hacked. If another review mod gets hacked and sees all of those flagged reviews, you may never see the light of normal again.

Sorry I haven't been very active, but football practice everyday can do that to a fella. I have 18 days before I need to go back to school and a book to read and report on, ugh.
