So i am wondering what is weed doing to me. I have been smoking weed few years now and now i moved to a new apartment. Alone. So i have been living here for like three weeks now and i have been smoking weed everyday. So this morning i woke up and begin to think why do i smoke everyday? Usually i drink two or three beers before i smoke so the beer is like boosting the effects and then im more fucked up.

I just don't know why i want to get fucked up every day. I mean my life is great. I have great friends who i can trust and great parents and great city i live. I would like to smoke less weed. That would be good but i can't. If i have any weed i have to smoke it everyday. I can't stop smoking it if i know i have it. I was thinking about quitting weed this morning but then i just smoked some pot instead. I mean this is insane. I know smoking weed everyday is a sign that your life isn't as good as it could be. Running away from reality doesn't fix anything.
Something need change?

I would like to do flash or making my own videogames instead like i did earlier in my life! Could somebody please tell me what to do. Some tips? Anyone had the same problem?

I'm rattling off random things about the community because I don't really have much to say other than some of the plugs above. I spent my day programming animal friends for CC and now I'm gonna crash. TTYL

Ooooh one last thing... We've been discussing Pico Day this year, and we are strongly considering opening it up to more NG-original characters. The reasons for this are:

1. People have talked a lot about having a "Newgrounds Day", but it feels really mastabatory to have TWO days a year where people make stuff dedicated to NG, as much as I love it.

2. COnsidering I still haven't released Pico 2, I'm worried making games and movies about Pico every year will get really played out.

3. A broader range of material could make the whole day more exciting and hopefully get a lot more people involved.

So.... I was thinking the options would be:

1. Pico (and friends)
2. The Bots (P-Bot, A-Bot, etc.)
3. The dudes from Dad 'n Me and Chainsaw the Children
4. Tankmen

We're gonna save Samurai A-hole and Alien Hominid for another year... But you're welcome to include them as guest appearances.

These rules are open to interpretation by individual moderators.

General Conduct

Before making a topic make sure you are posting in the correct forum. The moderators don't have tools to move your topic, so if it doesn't belong it will be deleted. It should be pretty clear where to post since each forum has a description. When making a topic in the general forum, try to keep it somewhat NG-related, too. We don't need to know what you ate for breakfast!

Give your topic a good title! This is often overlooked, and "WTF?" gives no clue as to what your topic will be about.

Before posting a topic, please ask yourself the following question: "Am I making a post which is either funny, informative, or interesting on some level?" If you can answer "yes" to this, then please post. If you cannot, then refrain.

Before replying, please ask yourself: "Does my reply offer any significant advice or help contribute to the conversation in any fashion?" (As a side note, posting "Use the search bar" is never helpful. First, if you have used the search bar and have found something relevant, just post the relevant link instead. Next, how can you presume that the person posting comments hasn't already tried the search bar and didn't find what they're looking for?)

Some simple guidelines:

* Use proper punctuation and grammar.
* Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse not to follow them.
* Lurk first, post second. Read the entirety of every thread you post in before you post.
* If you're about to make a post that you're not sure is OK, whether covered by the rules or not, don't.
* If you can't make a positive contribution to a topic, don't post.
* If you're not here to have fun, go elsewhere.
* Read, re-read, and respect these rules.

Final Thoughts

CountDantes, if you dont know what a movie clip is dont make a game. Its going to be impossible for you. And its not smart to make RPG as your first project.

I have five years Flash experience and three years AS programming experience and RPG game is still hard to make. When i was younger i had those "motivation" spikes like "I want to do RPG game!" or "I want to do a game like HALO using Flash!"

You must first know what you can and what you cant do.
RPG game is not a realistic project for you. I prefer you to make an animation first where is movie clips so you know how it works. Then start with something simpler.

You have to give it a right path. This is better:

Of course i have disks where is much free space but my computer usually slows down because of screenshots lol
