Israel and USA destroyed the reactor after the Gulf war...Saddam wasn't established as a threat back then, but France did use poor judgement.
As for USA helping Iraq, it helped very minor in the Iran war, because Iran had previously kidnapped over 200 american citizens...while Saddam had not been proven a threat to world stability.
Also, america never aided bin laden, the USA aided Afghanistan against the Soviets, because the Soviets invaded them without being provoked, much like Iraq invaded Kuwait.

What do you think of that? I think it's a little late, but better late than never. The Abu Sayef have been controlling a few islands and taking hostages for way too long, and the Philippines have actually been a good ally to the USA, even though they're mostly muslim in some parts.
