He's not loved by his people. He called for mass demonstrations after he rejected the proposal to go into exile....under 5,000 Iraqis demonstrated.

His people all hate him, they only fear his wrath.

The United States exerts control over the entire American Supercontinent, as well as the Pacific Ocean.

As much as everyone wants to see the USA fail, which is sick and malicious, better men than you all KNOW it will succeed.

The coalition used no atmoic weapons, so any radioactive elements were in-house in Iraq.

Flash movies have psychic powers, I heard.

None of that will happen, this war will be over quicker than the Zanzibar/Britain conflict.

Coalition forces drove Iraq from Kuwait, and Kuwait is now an ally of the United States, and a crucial stragecic point in the new invasion.

The only reason forces didn't pursue Saddam into Iraq is because the UN would not allow it.

The Americans have alreay lost this war, diplomatically.

Incorrect, on many levels. I don't know what's defames you more...your total lack of basic language skills, or your total lack of basic common knowledge. In any event, do some research next time.

Response to: *The US have already lost the war* Posted March 17th, 2003 in Politics

Seriously, you're taking very vague general statements and making specific conclusions from them. In no way is "most of the world" against the war, if anything, most of the world is indifferent. The UN isn't a fourth grade classroom, but the French would treat it as one, they have refused to negotiate, and turned the UN into a little game. This doesn't mean the security council will turn into "omg u vetod now i veto 2, ur gay," as you predict. There was no diplomatic road to victory, there almost never is.

Haha, it was kind of funny how their election, was, in their eyes: Super Fascist vs. ULTRA MEGA Fascist, whereas the rest of the world viewed it as Moderate vs. Middle Right.

La Pen did have some crazy ideas, though.

Fascist typically don't whine about not going to war. You're thinking of La Pen.

What are you talking about? The USA had a huge amount of terror attacks prior to 9/11, 9/11 was just the largest isolated attack. You really need to think before you post....

Response to: Connservitive / Liberal Media Posted March 17th, 2003 in Politics

NPR is just that, P, so it's anyone's opinion. Most people with opinios enough to warrant being on NPR are radicals, moderates don't tend to feel too strongly either way.

New York is awful news-wise, because the most popular paper, The New York Times (not to d2k, I specified which 'times' i'm talking about) is a little left of Karl Marx. It's impossible to read if you're not a liberal. The "moderate" paper is the NY Daily News, which is approx. a 6th grade reading level, and is more like the National Enquirer. The NY Post is the same way, it just leans right. The only safe bets are the Wall St. based papers like the Wall Street and Financial Times.

As for TV news, CNN and Fox are pretty balanced, but MSNBC tends to lean left, and CBS is totally unwatchable.
