Isn't the entire flaming bit the same at every single forum that you go to? If the crowd senses that you're a newb, they'll take full advantage of it:
a. Because they're tired of hearing redundant questions prosed by newbies repetitively.
b. Because they assume that's what they need to do to fit into the crowd of "cool" regulars.

Now, if more newbies took the time to read the long list of outlined rules, there would be a lot less of a bad reputation associated with newbies.

It's not hatred and ignorance really. That's what I meant when I said that you didn't know it well enough to be making that judgement. On the surface, they may all just appear to be a bunch of uneducated hicks/morons who bash anything and everything in the most racist ways possible.. but once you get to know the people, you'll find that a greater portion of them can actually be quite intellectual when addressed with serious issues. Of course, the reason most of them prefer that forum over this one is because there is a lack of rules there and therefore racism, spam, and almost everything else that isn't tolerated here is socially acceptable there.
I guess but still thats not right.My mother busted her ass to get to this country. She is a legal citizen like every1 else.If she would have stayed in her country, she would have been killed,raped or forced into an oppresive communist government.
They are firm believers that forums are meant to be used for the main purpose of having fun - and that means no censorship as to what can be said... or in most cases, no filter between the brain and the mouth.
