IT doesn't mean there isn't a "designer" but so far all the evidence of science has been going the other way. We used to think that living beings (animal life etc.) was evidence for a designer. But Darwin came along and showed the world how complexity could arise through random mutation and natural selection.

Science has done nothing to disprove the existence of an actual god, just disproved the existence of many major religion's gods.

So I don't say there definitely is no creator. But I say that given the history of science and how much we've been wrong about nature and the universe. And the fact that we would like their to be someone like us who controls reality? I think its more reasonable to say that there probably isn't a creator.

I still don't get this. I mean, you can reason all you want, if a god created everything, then everything exists because he created it. His work doesen't have to be magic, it can make sense. He doesen't have to be in control of reality, just the source of everything in our universe.

You seem to be stuck on the traditional perception of a god as held by people of the Christian faith, it simply doesen't have to be this way.

Atheism is a lack of believe in a God. Most of the claims made for gods existence are books such as the bible, the quran or the book of mormon. Much of this literature is contradictory, immoral and scientifically untenable. It seems likely that these religions are inventions of our own. If you agree with me on this point you are pretty much an atheist.

Because, a lack of proof doesn't disprove it. We're humans. We have no clue about anything. We'll likely never have a definitive answer as to whether or not there is a god. Making any other claim puts you on the same level, or even beneath them.

If you'd like, give specific arguments against major religions to disprove them specifically. Just because every one of them is wrong doesn't mean that there isn't an intelligence that played a roll in creating us.

But the drugs aren't specifically illegal! All they say is: "If it is chemically similar to another illegal drug, it's counted as schedule 1". How do they expect the common citizen to know whether or not a compound is chemically similar? It's bullshit. They should be able to make individual drugs illegal with all them money available to them.
