Probably, but you'd need a new motherboard if you're looking to upgrade. Even today's low-end hardware most likely isn't compatible with your motherboard. But it all depends on what you want to do with the computer, anyway.

You can try to salvage what you can, but anything in that computer sounds like it's not even worth the trouble. In fact, the only thing that is half-worthy of keeping is probably the processor -- for testing and other shit.

Ah, a S53300NX? It's not really that old, but still extremely outdated. Motherboard probably looks something like the picture below.

Don't really worry about AGP slots, they are completely obsolete now, all you want to look at is PCI (preferrably, PCI-e 2.0) slots.

No, you have to clean out all the guts. Everything in that computer is extremely obsolete, except for the CD drive -- but even that's sorta iffy. The case might come in handy, but that's not too likely as it probably doesn't have any expansion slots (Pci, PCI-e, PCI 2.0), hell I'm not even sure that it has an AGP slot! The case is also probably too small to accommodate any of today's huge graphics card (a standard, modern case that isn't built specifically for gaming will even have a very hard time handling a GTX 260).

You're better off starting off completely fresh. But however, I must congratulate you if you have such an antique computer laying around. :)

I would say how I have a decent reputation in the outside world, but that just sorta implies that all Newgrounders that have reputations on NG have no lives.

How the fuck do I deal with the sideffects of way too much caffeine from an unbranded energy drink that I had around 16 hours ago? I got a really bad headache after about 2 hours of taking it in, then I got severely tired, went to sleep. Woke up in the middle of the night, dizzy as fuck, however I went back to sleep. I just woke up around 2 hours ago, I'm really dizzy and disoriented, and my eyes will only open so wide (half closed), and I feel like shit.

How do I deal with this? Also, how long will it last?

I use ChromiFox (basic) and I love it. I always did love the way Chrome looks, but I didn't like the fact that the tabs were on top, but the colors are fucking amazing. I've been using this for about a year now. Haven't changed since, it's that fucking great.
