I just wanted to know what sort of things that you like in flash movies: ie. genre (action, comedy, etc etc), songs, features (sound control, etc) and so forth...
These are all ideas to go into a flash movie I'm making, dah... lol

MySpace :(... MySpace is a place where you DON'T have freedom of speech and they are working towards governments stopping you saying what you want. So yes it is a conspiracy, but ympiestumble.com is most definitely NOT a part of it!
Try it: say something bad about MySpace and Ympiestumble.com on both the sites, and MySpace are the ones that delete your account...

Ok, just a quick question.
So when you submit something to be judged, how long will it stay under the judgement section? Like does it depend on how many people vote, a certain time period, or if your submission reaches a certain score????

If you cant afford flash then maybe look at one of their competitors calles SWiSH....

Its a good deal, but be really careful you are not going into a scam.

You could always try publishing the file rather than exporting it. The sound should not have effected effected the file unless for some reason it was really corrupt, which is doubtful. If you are still having problems you can always do a quick search on google or go to help, they can usually answer your questions well.

It is possible to create a website like outwar through dreamweaver, however a website like that one requires alot of scripting/coding. So it is advisable that you know the basics of that. But considering where technology is heading in about one or two years you probably wont need to know any scripting/coding to create a website like that through dreamweaver.
Dreamweaver however does work quite well with flash and fireworks, etc. So it really depends on how much you want it and what your going to use it for.

I found if you stopped moving the mouse the platform would stop creating...
The graphics were alright... However i did find at times the screen seemed fairly crowded...
Also, some sound would be good before the final publication of the game. But I'm sure you already planned that one... lol

All of the older tutorials will basically work for flash8, but will have a few bits and pieces that wont corrospond with flash 8... but if you want a website try looking up http://www.baycongro..flash_5_tutorial.htm

I was just wondering how can you get realistic sounding voices to record? I have a microphone and I use Goldwave to record, but it always sounds fuzzy and well... really fake.
What am i doing wrong and how can I make my recording sound more real???

It sounds alright... but it might get a lil boring after a while... Maybe have like a lil movie between each lock picked as a "reward" or something... Other than that I believe the idea is fairly original.

Some Noobs need some simple but good tutorials on how to do frame by frame animation, or even just get their stick figures to move effectively. If that helps you at all....

If you cant think of anything to do then maybe consider doing a short story on a life or a family member or friend, they can usually have some good stories.

You do realise that there is a rule against spam???? !
Especially when you are showing a discrimination against all non-Aussies.

Most simple flash sites are just buttons with actions that tell the button when pressed, or whatever, to go to a certain frame or scene. Start off simple and progress to some harder things. Some people have already posted a few good sites, but dont forget that there are many flash books out there that do step by step details very good.

I agree. Some very very small lean way can be given to the very first flash that a NOOB creates, but that is only if they have tried HARD at it. Support is what it's generally called. But there are boundaries for all support; it has to be reasonable what you create.
And PLEASE , try to make up something original! That way you will get a better rating for it. People like to see original stuff not the same things over and over again...

I think it is very good. Quite original. Most games are 'How many ppl can u kill' type thing. I'd love to see the finished product, i think it will be awesome.
