Stage.showMenu = false;
put that in the first frame
So this might help (and if I had not mistaken, this code is 'documentated')
Thanks.
Well, I've just read an article about 'disabling right-click cheat in mouse avoider game'. All you need to do is to insert this line of code in a place where it will be executed every frame :
if (ASnative(800, 2)(2)) {
// code to execute when the player tries to cheat
}
Well, 'ASnative' isn't a documented function, so it might not work in the future and no support provided (from what I've read, the writer says it works at the moment). Click here for site about this code
Thanks and I hope it helps :)

This isnt a hard concept to undarstand. If yu matched wits with a houseplant you wouldnt haev to ask us this.
So, what makes a review appear to be 'useful'? Is that only reviews that have only the 'good' about the submission will be useful (which appear to be true at most of the time). Shall I tell the truth, or just only write the good things? I also wonder, how many of you have reviews that are rated as 'useless' eventhough you had mentioned things that appear to be 'useful'?
Thanks.
This is constructive critizizm.
I just don't understand why this kind of 'review' will be marked as 'useful' in some cases. Is there anything helping me to improve? I can't see any. However, I can see that it was written by someone who thinks he/she is a 'genius' and calling other people 'moron' (a person with no spelling mistake will be called as 'moron' by a person who has lots of typing/spelling error?).
Back to topic, actually that wasn't really a 'question', but a 'complain'. I just found that many people in this site (I can see 1 in this topic) like to ruin the nice community with his/her 'mature' point of view. Sometimes it is quite frustrating and annoying when we spent our time to write down a 'constructive' review but be 'ignored' and rated as 'useless' by other people.
So, maybe there should be a better system in this site. For example, maybe we should be able see who rated a review and which review has been rated by the person in his/her profile. Then, we should be able to 'report' if the person is purposely rating all the reviews in the 'negative' side and don't allow him/her to review/rate anything in the future. Or maybe you have better suggestion about this problem?
Thanks.
Note : Actually it was quite important since people will see whether the review is 'useful' or 'useless' before reading it because there are so many reviews in a game. If it is not an important feature, I don't know why was it 'implanted' in this site.

Here is my WIP Windmill (most recent model). I have posted it in 3DK and here is the link to it (sorry, but my pictures are at least 640x480, so obviously I can't attach it here. If the forum doesn't allow 'linking', please accept my apologize):

The kid is 13 years old. Discussion is over , someone lock this.
I agree. That kid just cannot accept other people's comment, why he needs to open this useless topic? I hope he will get warning/ban and moderators, please close this thread.
Thanks :)
No offence, but I think your site is really ugly. Why are there so many advertisements? Why aren't there any image? And why is it so 'traditional'? (I almost never see this kind of site recently in these few years, it looks like a site made at the 90s') Why don't you make your blog and forum's colour theme same as your main site's? Why don't you just use a CMS instead of making the main site by yourself? Why is there everywhere filled with ads? (even your blog also have the firefox ads) In conclusion, its really the worst site that I've seen in this and the past few years.
I already know how to make my game character jump, move etc. but my question is, how to make the movie clip 'action' for it when I clicked certain keys. For example, you can see the game character's leg moving when you press left/right (and this is what I am asking, how to make the animation for the moving leg when I pressed left/right, and stopped when I didn't press anything).
Thanks :)
Is there any better 'tutorial' other than this? (at least with some explanation so that I can adjust if there is anything wrong with my script) I've just started using Flash today, so I almost don't know anything about it.
Thanks :)
Note : The previous 'tutorial' doesn't seem to be working.
After searching for a long time, I still can't find a tutorial that shows me how to make my game character move the hand/ any part when I pressed the key for it to move. What I mean is, for example, if I pressed left, I can see the character move towards the left side but how do I make animation for the hand/ leg/ any part of it (so that it will have animation when moving, stops when stopped moving (stopped pressing)).
Thanks for your help and have a nice day :)
Oh, never mind. I've found that I've repeated my script on another side and I forgot about that. After I removed the script from that side, everything went fine again. Thanks for the help anyways and sorry for this 'rubbish' post :)
Sorry for double posting because I can't find the edit button for my post.
I forgot to say that in my previous post. I found that my 'character' is like moving 5 pixels per frame if I give my FPS as 30 seconds and my speed is 5while other tutorials that I read is not like that. I followed exactly like the tutorial but whenever I move my 'character', it just moves faster than the tutorial. The settings are same as that (the FPS, speed for the button pressed) If I make my FPS slower, it will become very laggy. If I lower my speed to 1 (or below 1), the speed is still very fast. Please help me if you know whats wrong.
Thanks :)
Hi, this is my first post in this forum so if I made any mistakes, please accept my apologize :)
Back to topic, this is my first time making a game and using Flash. I am having problem when moving my 'character'. It is very slow (lagging) when moving. Can I know, what can I do to make it smoother? I tried making higher frame rate but it also make the 'character' move faster when its higher. I tried adjusting the speed of it to 1 and even below 1 but still not moving smooth. Can I know how can I post/show you a .swf file of my current scene to let you see the 'lag' that I mean? I hope to get some help.
Thanks :)
