WIP. Reviews would be greatly appreciated :]
Will return reviews if you want me to!
I love this community. Thanks everyone for the replies! I figured out that it was Massive that was crashing FL. So any project that had the Massive vst in it would explode.
Thanks again everyone!
I wish there was an edit button...
I tried opening another project i was working on, it also crashed. The thing is that that project is tiny. There's barely any vsts or samples in that. maybe 2 of each max.
I'm...so sad. Sad and confused.
Someone help me
I don't know a lot of loops, but it sounds fine to me. Needs a bit of work, though.

And it must be saved in that state, so it might be extremely hard to get to work. Happened to me a couple of times. I suggest if you can get it open, first thing you do is delete the memory hazardous plugins, then save again.
Ahh that would make sense. Well shit... Is there any way I can lighten the load outside of FL? For example maybe I could temporarily uninstall a VST?
Upload your song somewhere else, let us hear it.
Yesterday I had FL crash on me a few times when trying to open this project I've been working on. I got it to open eventually. Now today, I can't get it open at all. Yes, I added some sounds and vsts and effects while working on it. I don't have a clue what could have done it though. Same thing is happening with a few of my other projects, too. I'm assuming its one of the VSTs, but I'm not sure.
Can anyone give me any good ways to start approaching this problem? Troubleshoot strategies? Or does anyone know how to fix this problem specifically?

Here's my third song ever. Can I get some critiques? :D
Sorry I don't know what the name of the song is... But I do know that it makes me laugh.

My second song. Evar. Still a WIP but I lost interest / inspiration.
Critique please? =]
Yeah. I tried sitting on the toilet and it disappeared.
Chron... you're an asshole:
I would post the log of that intense orgy sesh...but, sadly, I don't think it would be appropriate for the forums.
I'm fairly new at FL Studio. I understand the mechanics but now I need to learn the techniques. I need to learn how to add a bass kick effectively into a song. Right now I just slap any old bass on and it sounds too shallow and weak and if I pump it up with the EQ it swallows other sounds.
What I want right now is to make my bass omnipresent in the song without it swallowing other sounds.
I need the bass to be powerful and surround the melody while still retaining the melody's power.
Can anyone recommend any techniques or give me suggestions on how to go about doing this? If my request is to vague let me know.
Thanks! :D
Hello everybody :D. I just discovered what the audio portal is today after previously visiting numerous times in the past and always overlooking the 'audio portal' link. I can't believe I've never bothered to wander over here; it's awesome! I think I'm going to enjoy my stay :].
Okay so I'm not sure if this is a good place to share a WIP and ask for it to be critiqued but I didn't see anything in the forum rules that said it couldn't be. If this isn't the proper area to do so could someone face me in the right direction?
Anyways I've had FL Studio for a while now and played around with it here and there. I just recently became increasingly interested in music creation and after a little bit of experimenting I came up with this:
http://nmstuff.250free.com/sweetarp.mp3
It's my first song and I would really like some critique. I wanna know if it sounds good and if it should be continued or not.
Again if this isn't the right place to ask please let me know. I was also wondering if it would be better if I just submitted a work in progress to the audio portal and have the ratings and comments be the critique?
Thanks!
