I understand what you're getting at. The way I interpret it, and before I say this please know that 75% of all my interpretations are wrong, it reminds me of the stand alone complex (not the ghost in the shell anime). The complex is when two individuals have the exact same idea without an original. It's almost like me and some person from another place thought up of a new word, and neither of us got the idea from each other or any other inspiration. Chances are i am wrong but i love getting immersed in conversations about the psyche and politics and stuff like that. Just like i get immersed in point-and-click room escape games... but that's besides the point.

Based on the the points you have brought up, i 'm not really savvy as to what is going on in Australia, but it seems to make perfect sense. I think that there may be something else that makes some people have a goal to rule a country or countries, in Saddam's case invading a country in Africa (Can't remember which one at the moment) for oil, or to have a deep hatred for one group of people, even though Germany lost in world war one, that may have been a factor and Hitler chose to take it out on the jewish for some reason. I'm trying to avoid saying it's some mental thing or a gene, but at the time it's the only conclusion I have. Ok, back to the main topic. I agree that it's a possibility, but that is human flaw, to judge someone by their actions and not their true personality. I am not disagreeing or agreeing with your statement, i'm just adding my own opinion.
