the mummy the first one was 1 of the best films of the last decade(2000-2010) but the mummy returns was well not so much. one problum was makeing rick a maji after all in the first one they tried to kill him and since he had thetatoo since he was in the offanage (wont even start on how clichie that is) it makes no sense since you'd think a secret order like the maji would keep track of which random orphens they forcably induct into there order also since they made him a magi why the hell dident they adopt him too you know TO TRAIN HIM.

the next flaw comes from evee making her the reancarnation of nefertiti was dumb the whole appeel of her character is that she wasent some warrior princess she was a clumsy librarian whos strength came from her skills of the mind like her knowing camals are better in the dessert then horses or being able to read hyroglyphs better and more acuatly then many others the perfect foil to rick.

third they made the magi psudo christian by saying " they are the warriors of god" since there an anciant order from EGYPT they would serve an egyptian deity and i know your going to say " THEY PROBUBLY MEANT AN EGYPTION GOD " but thats not likelly as the anciant egyptians religions reffer to which god they serve by name infact christianity and its off shoots are the only religions that dont give there god a name and only refer to it by the generic word god which means deity .

next one is actually miner WHY DID THE GUY DRAG IMHUTEPS BUTT ALL THE WAY BACK TO ENGLAD what they wanted was in egypt sure they needed the cannopic jars to fully revive imotep (to mark who he needed to absorb) and the braclet of anubus to find the scorpian king but the guy i am talking about was the curator of the musium ,the same musium the ocanals were planning on donating the braclet to so he could of just waited and had that shipped to egypt with out alerting them . he was having the cannopic jars stolen from the musium they were sent to and they were sent to egypt so why waste the trip why not just revive him right there and and meet up with everthing he needed on route and the ohconals wouldent have known about imhutep until it was to late

the final thing i have to say to the movies many flaws is the dues ex machina ending in that spear they used in the end isent it a little coincidental that the spear was in homonaptra and that guy in the fez from the first the mummy just happen to load it into the cammels and that that spear was the only thibg johnathin dident lose of his fortune.although the gold book from the first one was also a bit of a push buttan solution they had to fucking work for it first evee had to translate a tablet to find its hidding place , then they had to fight past imhuteps brain washed living servents ,then they had to fly to the city of the dead threw imhoteps sand storm ,then they had to dig up the book while fighting off an army of weaker mummys ,then they had to get the damn key back to open the damn thing

im not sure if anybody here remembers it mischief makers was a slightly obscure title back in the day but it was awsome one of the best platformers ever made. it is about this super strong maid cyborg robot girl named marina who is trying to save here creator professor theo from an armie led by his brother (we only find out the brother thing at the end). your only way of fighting is grabing stuff some things have a shooting function but most times you haveto throw it at your enemy which was fun. it had alot of uniquness and was the one of first to have it so that the bosses and there vehcles were seperate sprites and DAMN were those boss battles hard first time through ..... exept sasquch beta i have a feeling that one arived to the level in a short bus off screen.

what gets me alittle miffed is mischief makers exclusion from super smash brothers brawl i mean sure marina is a little obscure but i dident even know what pit was let alone who he was untill i read his profile (im still alittle confused is he an angel or a guy with magic fake wings attatched with a cupid obbsession what). so it dumbfounds me that she wasent included she seems perfect for it with the grab throw dynamic and boost jump thing i really thought she would make the cut plus she wouldent die as much as pit oh well maybe next smash bro's.

it really is an awsome game campy and fun if you have a n 64 i recomend you dust it off plug it in and by a copy its especialy if you havent played it before its really really worth it alot better then alot of current platformers thats for sure. fun and campy like how nintendo tries to do there games like maio and failed for the last 10 years to bad a sequal was never made oh well its awsome none the less and probubly the most awsome platformer ever

It's Toonami. It comes on saturdays at 12 and ends around 6. They don't show anything good until 3 in the morning. Up until then, it's all entry level anime. They're showing nothing but anime movies this month. Akira's a lot worse than I remember, there was some OVA last week, yesterday was this Fullmetal Alchemist Movie that I mistook for a marathon of filler episodes. And I don't remember the first movie they showed this month. It was probably one of the Evangelion movies. They show them as often as they can.

It's Funimation channel actually, but you can just watch the anime on their website anyways. Rather than looking for an anime channel, just save yourself the time and money and just stream/download like everybody else.

um i think thats only the american cartoon network the one in canada only shows repeats of ten year old american shows on saterday for some stupid reason like billy and mandy and stuff like that and then the new young justice and thundercat shows they made recently

i could give a long winded speech about the pros and cons of these to series but i wont humer myself in thinking you guys dident watch it more then even me . that being said ill keep this short and ask which you guys think is better in terms of story line .

I never said that directly, I simply find it weird that a grown man would regularly watch a show that was blatantly watch a show that was specifically for a girls demographic. With that said, I honestly shouldn't be mentioning that as a negative, as one of my favorite shows {Clannad} has a lot of girlish undertones with it, {at least on the surface} and essentially I would be some sort of hypocrite.

Once again, I said that the show itself is a fad, though like most fads, the interest will generally start to whittle away among the majority until we stop talking about it, only making brief references in the future about it. Hell, it's already happening now, considering that most people here don't even talk about that much {not including this conversation} outside of the official MLP thread.

heres a counter argument and ill use 2 other show as a reference first simpsons even its writers said they dident expect it to go to far and thought it was a fad but it shows no sign of slowing down in...god....how old is the sipsons

the second is pokemon close to 20 movies like a billion episodes of the anime and a ton games and every one back in the 90's said "its just a fad a few years well forget about" and "kids will tire of it eventually" well it dident and they dident there are millions of fans and alot adults and it did start as a fad

my point is fads have a habit of sometimes becoming more and getting people like crazy and stuff eventually wereing outfits of stuff like ponies and stuff

Basically, it's nothing more than a cheap fad which somehow haven't seem to disappaited for some reason, especially for a show that had limited demographic appeal in the first place, and even with Lauren Faust as the creator of FIM, the novelty act will soon wear thin when they have less material to work with. simply put, MLP is highly overrated, and also i really hate some of the fanbase, who thought it necessary to invalidate their favourite show by votebotting a website, giving mlp a really unfair advantage over its closest rival (adventure time), and then accused Doctor Who fans of votebotting because it was so far ahead of everything else on its category when who still had a low enough number of votes that it was still a reasonable number for this particular website's visitorship, which was in the tens of thousands (not to mention i had never heard of any of the other shows in its category), while MLP's votes numbered in the millions.

but yeah, don't get me wrong i have nothing against mlp at all, i just think AT is superior.

i watch adventure time too but there story line i find lacks direction and give no motivations as to why fin and jake go around doing what they do and often it makes no sense if the show focased on marcelene i would see your point more as she has a deep and penitrating story line . mar mar is a half demon who survived a nuceular war loosing her mother and had to watch her dearest friend slowly go insane in order to protect her from the monsters created by the radiation that the war wrought , and she grows to be the vampire queen. as it stands it seems AT is about a couple of wandering psycos killing or beeting anything they think they can get away with i say this because there default response to most things is kill itv and as seen in one episode they destroid an entire city to retrieve a watermelon a bunch of fruits and vegis and some sasages they think are alive and a family that live in a play house (this is from that episode where they kidnap and almost kill that kid but accident). there is also that time they marched into the desert and attacked some hobos and let them steal some poisened tarts that left them paralized forever or entil the combination of the desert sun and the buzzards mistaking there motionless husks for corpses and eating them alive and slowly killed them ... off screen of course.they also work for a princess who since she has cloning tech does not value they lives of here subjects and has been seen cutting the limbs off a tiny farmer creature to attatch by force onto another

mlp sure the mesage is transparent as glass but it does have direction and they usually give much thought to the episode story line and plot often even using miner characters in big ways with out it feeling forced, as well as the motivations of the characters and there not cookie cutter in any way having flaws to go with the good. twilight is smart and gifted but she is a social recluse or rather used to be for much her life before celestia literally forced her to make friends ...practicly at gun poiunt so she has trouble in social sittuations alot but is improving she also tends to go alittle crazy when things dont make sense to herlike the pinky sence or if shes late withan assignment like when she was late on an assignment and almost made every one kill each other with a magic doll. fluttershy her ccute shyness often gets in the way of her normal life she is also very gullable and oftentakes peoples word to easily like that thing with the minitaur making her a big bully for a while. and rarity very prissy and a hydocondryac often to the point in which it greatly interfers with even family relationships at times or causes her to focas on miner things when something important happens. ill stop with the comparisons there this is draging on a bit so to summerize

any thing AT gains in the deep post apocaliptic background is lost due to the chaotic story and eh actually shallow lead characters and lack of foces while anything mlp looses in shallow messaging it gains in superior exicution deeper characters and a focas to the plots . while there is no denying adventure time does hold its own with the more adult shows on cn it only does so through the use of ultra violance (like michal bay using explosions to make people think his movies are good) and and actually deep characters such as marcelene and ice king supplying a back story and perceived depth fin and jake are quite dull and kinda cookie cutter and because most plots center on them the show is dragged down quite alot not really standing along side more adult shows but more like well leaning beside them with a loud shirt and signs saying notace me

all and all id say once the pros and cons are tallied for both there about on plar depending on how much each person likes character development

Yeeeaaaahhhh, there's no way fossil fuels are gonna be able to power a large, fully functional mech, it's just not happening

In several decades there will surely be advances in energy storing and generation, in fact there's already "Micro batteries" which are, as the name implies, microscopic batteries. They can deliver a pretty impressive amount of energy and they're only just now in the beginning phase.

So yeah, no fully functional battle mechs for now. In a few decades, maybe. Just be patient.

again you are vastly over estimated the power requirments both machenes mentioned are fully functional and will work for a fair amount of time putting them togather makes sense SINCE BOTH WORK by the way you only need the legs in rough terrain not 24 7 thats why you keep the wheels

they just need monny and its a reality plus the only 2 thing keeping them from being spun off into a weapon is 1 they both are made by people who dont want it made into a weapon and the military ansewrs to bone heads they dident jump on rocket tech either and look at what happened there the allies lost a ton of guys to nazi missles inww2
