Double check your HDMI settings and also that you've not done something silly like plugged the cables into an output port on your hi-fi.

Thank you for being the only person with helpful information.

You're gold aura does not betray you.

Indeed, I think it may be something technical, thus I shall just contemplate getting a television with an audio jack.

Also you could just take advantage and set up your home network correctly in order to put these songs on your 360 console.

What the hell are you talking about?

My directive is to listen to what is being outputing from the television on headphones. Since my television has no audio jack, i'm trying to find a work around.

At 11/8/09 10:58 PM, wtflolnoob wrote: It's probably a matter of meta-physical mechanics. Before you can plug your headphones in, you need to realize that there IS no audio output.

?

The xbox360 transmits audio information from the system to the television via the RCA red and white cables.

Why can't I simply put these cables into my stereo system's left and right channels to emit the sound from my speakers instead of my television console?

My stupid piece of shit HD television doesn't have an audio jack for headphones. It has the SP/DIF, but I don't have headphones with a digital coaxial output.

I tried taking the RCA L & R audio jacks from the actual x-box 360 (with the HD switch turned on AND off) and putting them into my computer's stereo system in attempt to get the sound to play on my computer.

No luck. Is it because the computer speaker is reading digital sound while the television is analog? Is that even correct?

Is this a hoax or did an actual admin try to refer me to lockerz?

Don't think i'll join, although I think it would be kind of lame for the admins to be milking referrals through mass mail..

Not sure what happened, but it would be wise of you to no longer rewrite the same .flp file every time you save.

Simply "save as new version" each time you make drastic changes to the project file. You'll be glad you did.

Have you ever seen the movie "Snatch?"

It's about bare-knuckle boxing, and during some of the fight scenes they play some pretty kick-ass music.

If that's the style you're looking for, lemme know and i'll see what I can cook up.

I'll assume you're referring to the "Step Sequencer."

Which, is something that is not maintained by a key, however, you can change the pitch of individual samples used as channels in the step sequencer by clicking the channel name and tweaking the 'pitch' knob in the controller view.

You aren't fooling anyone, you crazy zookeepers.

I realize that it wasn't their fault for the neglect due to wartime problems, but seriously.

It's like taking a shitty company that is having a bad year, and letting them create a new product that is advertised falsely.

probably not very. Any significant change to the AP is going to involve huge amounts of effort for the administrators and coders. For all we know they're -working- on something.

Do you think if we got enough 'e-signatures' from audio regs, we might be able to convince the admins that we want changes?
If the admins don't know that we want changes, they're completely oblivious.

And of course, we could spam the submission with 5's to make sure it gets attention ;)
I'm not sure a flash submission is the venue we need.

You're probably right about the admins' awareness. They probably know to some extent.

I guess it just pisses me off. Did you know that people can get awarded "Front-Paged" medals for the Art Portal? Jesus, it's only been around a couple months and it's already got medals, a revamped system, tweaks, etc etc.

But I digress, I just think a petition in flash form MAY be a good a idea for the sole purpose of rallying people together. We're like the poor, neglected child of the family :(

It's a good idea.

Thing is, it's hard to get the admin to take note of this. Maybe if we made a flash petition and had audio regs sign it..

I think I may actually do this..!

Anyway, for future reference: Post more ideas here! :D
