Click the song on the timeline. Open the properties window. Change the bitrate to 128+ and the sound file to stereo.

What the other poster referenced to, in the settings, is for publishing. This should change your playback quality.

My stupid piece of shit HD television doesn't have an audio jack for headphones. It has the SP/DIF, but I don't have headphones with a digital coaxial output.

I tried taking the RCA L & R audio jacks from the actual x-box 360 (with the HD switch turned on AND off) and putting them into my computer's stereo system in attempt to get the sound to play on my computer.

No luck. Is it because the computer speaker is reading digital sound while the television is analog? Is that even correct?
