You can request something really broad 'something purple' ...or just 'artist's choice' ...keyword there is 'request' ...doesn't mean that's what you have to make. For example, every year I ask for a million dollars, but I only get like $10! Not what I requested, but It's still money! :P

It depends on the collab. Most people use software, but others paint/draw on paper/canvas and scan/photograph it.

Art101 has a list of apps (some are free) as well as info on documenting your work.

If you're looking for a more specific answer, you'll have to ask more specific questions. Feel free to post in the art forum lounge... it's a good way to get answers while also getting to know the other users!

When you are slightly (hovering) above the pad with the pen and move it around (but aren't touching them together), the pointer on the screen moves too... so you can see where it is. Clicking (pressing the pen tip to the tablet) is the equivalent of pressing the button on a mouse. It takes some getting used to.

The 'supposed' purpose of this thread wasn't to debate the issue of suicide and bag on the mods ...it was to state the obvious by reminding others that they shouldn't make smart ass comments in topics where the OP is allegedly suicidal ...while bagging on the mods.

THE RIGHT THING TO DO: If you see a thread or post (be it about suicide or any other topic) that you feel the mods have overlooked or need to keep a closer eye on... just pm someone... there's a list at the bottom of the forum or in the Help/FAQ section under "Moderators".

Is it one of the ng preloaders? Some are set to play right after loading, others offer a play button. So depending on which one you used, that might be the cause. Otherwise, you'll have to give more specific details.

I didn't take his question to mean "will a bigger tablet make me a better artist?" I took it to mean "will a bigger drawing surface make for a better drawing experience?" Some people like to draw big so a larger tablet would probably work better for them... it's all a matter of personal preference.

I have the exact same tablet and I love it. I've never actually tried a bigger one, but I can't really see any advantages to it. On the downside... it will take up more space on my desk... and more money out of my bank account. So I'm gonna say it's just a matter of personal preference/budget.
