Morality aside, I think it's absolutely ridiculous for a flash like that to be removed after this site has built up part of it's reputation from being offensive. Wasn't there a flash where they parodied a situation where a little kid stabbed his father for a piece of chocolate cake? I don't know if it's still here or not, but I don't know why Tom or whoever is all of a sudden cool with getting rid of what was just another one of the hundreds of crappy, violent flashes that really pose no threat at all. It's like throwing away everything that got you where you were because your new friends don't approve, and frankly, that's just stupid.

As far as the album, I can't really say but I like the wackier songs by Eminem. Lately though most of his music is depressing and very little of it I like. To answer your question OP I'm indifferent to the album because i'm not about to check out what tracks are on it.

That's understandable. Most people don't really like his new stuff. Personally, I like most of it just because of the lyricism, maybe not as much as his more ridiculous stuff, but I still think it's still enjoyable to listen to. Well, more in the case of Recovery, Relapse I admit I wasn't too big a fan of.

I don't really have the cash to dish out for a new controller right now, and I don't want a fightstick, so I need to take matters into my own hands. My controller has a tilted joystick, and it makes it a lot harder to play games like they should be, especially fighting games, which doesn't help because I'm trying to learn SF4. I don't really think you'll be able to see it, but I figured I'd post pictures of the normal and tilted positions. If you do see something, just think of it as worse than it what looks like, because that's what the level is. You likely see the little part on the bottom, the one that looks as though it were eaten off. I think that might have something to do with it, but I don't think so. Anyway, when it's tilted, what that means is that it doesn't snap back to the original position when I let go of the controller, which makes it harder to, say, perform a combo in Mortal Kombat without ending up doing something like a special move, or move in Dead Rising by running instead of only walking.

Does anybody have any clue for how I can fix this? If it requires opening it I need to be sure about what to do, because I find it kinda hard to put the shit back together.

Most of Eminem's mainstream songs are written from the point of view of Slim Shady, which if you likely didn't know, is nothing more than an alter-ego used to portray over-the-top, deliberately absurd depictions of violence. The whole point of that stuff is to entertain the listener, and to express his anger with things too, he just stretches the situation out to make it more fun to listen, and frankly, it works.

I've been wondering this for a while. It sold very well, just like pretty much all of Eminem's other albums, but fans and critics both regard it as not very good lyrically compared to his other albums. In comparison to The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, and The Eminem Show, it's been said that the lyrics are simplistic. I don't really know why, I mean, if it's not the subject matter that's appealing to everyone here, I think the way he flows still deserves a lot of respect, and the beats of the album are pretty good too.

Eminem himself has said that he isn't pleased with Encore, because at the time was starting to grow a lot more addicted to prescription drugs, which makes sense I guess because he was actually there and knows what it was like putting everything together, especially while under the influence. But for what he put out, even if it was pretty nonsensical, I think lyrically he did very well in most songs.

So, I'm just wondering, what does everyone else think?
