Ok so it starts out as a normal winter day in Iowa. I wake up, eat breakfast, and shovel snow. But on this day, my mother (Still on Christmas break here) wants me to drive to the town next door and get some grocerys.
This is where it gets weird, as I am driving through town, the local Mexican store has about 10 or 20 guys in full S.W.A.T. outfits standing outside the door. Now we have a fairly large Mexican population
in that part of town, and most of us knew that most of them must have come here illegally. But it never bothered us because they were very kind people.
When I saw that they had huge machine guns and shotguns, I knew something was up. I pulled my truck over and walked to the out-of-place group of men and asked then why they were there.
The response I got was "Nothing of interest here citizen, continue your business". So I got into my vehicle and left.
On my way back from the store, about 10 minutes later, I drive by the store again and see FBI cars and the S.W.A.T. guys rummaging through the building and putting hispanics, children and adults, into one of those big armored cars.
When I got home, I called the local radio station and they told me that it was just a "practice" and denied that it had anything to do with illegals. Not satisfied with my answer, I called my friend, a Iowa state trooper and asked him about everything that I saw. He told me that "They wouldn't have live firearms and full outfitted men if it was just a "practice" procedure."
As I type, they're still going through the building and taking people away. None of the local TV stations have anything about what transpired and I'm getting a little worried about if they're trying to cover something up or not.
I'm thinking of grabbing my camera so I can get some pictures to prove that this is really happening.
