i dont believe time is ever technically "wasted" on anything. are things people do destined to end in failure and serve no practical purpose? sure. but they eventually learn from it. hopefully. if not, they get a darwin award when they die. natural selection at work.

meh, so many people with their god modes and infinite lives and stuff.. i'd be content so long as the game world allows save scumming. so no roguelikes.

still, if i could choose anything.. i might pick.. gee i dunno... maybe i'd still go with fable. even if i killed the entire town, if i just wait until the heat dies down or pay a massive fine..

so stealing stuff from the store if i was hungry and couldnt afford it wouldnt be anything at all really..

but as they say, "give a man money to buy food, and he will eat until he is full, and then he realizes that bread isn't the only thing for sale.."

so why stop with that.. take anything i need. hijack someone's house.. take a tv to play my retro games on.. take a computer to play everything else on..

and sell off anything else i take that i dont want, so i can buy stuff i do want.

meh.. still, i'd have to donate tons of that cash to be totally in the clear.. and if what i did was serious enough, say. destroying the town permanently instead of just killing everyone... even that wouldnt do the trick.

but i'm not the type of person to kill people in real life so that doesnt really matter. stealing is the worst i'd ever do..

before i knew it, i'd be the ruler of that town. still, if the world worked that way, anyone could do the same thing so it'd lose it's meaning.

nah.. as for what ive done since then when i did have an account.. i still cant remember. if i had all the time in the world i could probably sift through my posts but... nope..

hmm.. i dont think i could say what i'd do really.. except not really much at all. i forgive terrorists, so why dafuq would a person hijacking my account be different?

still, i'd have to do something if i wanted to retain hope of ever keeping my life's work on track.. so.. letting everyone know it was a hijack somehow definitely..

how i'd do that i dunno..

Response to: Toon Link Vs Twilight Princess Link Posted November 6th, 2014 in Video Games

also, i feel i should mention that while tp link's master sword always was at full power, toon link's master sword had it's holy power destroyed for awhile when ganon had the sages assassinated and he had to newly imbue it in there.

as a result, toon link's sword probably only has the power of the triforce goddesses, and not hylia.

not to mention tp link has the suns of the twilight realm stuck inside it too.

He was what, 12 or so when he explored dungeons and stabbed Ganon in the FACE?!?

tp link wasnt all that much older, just a bit younger than oot "adult"(17) link and killed off his ganon for real as well, through the heart.

plus his sword techniques are far more refined. and since toon link never gets the chance to grow up before they meet, the only things he has on tp link are his op light arrows, and the hurricane spin, which as a necessary drawback, leaves him dizzy and vunerable to attack for several seconds.

in that time, tp link could shield bash him to the ground and do a finishing blow stab straight through the chest.

Consoles are all pretty much the same so saying things like Wii sucks is definitely something a gamer would not say.

no they are not. unless you are calling this gen all the same, then i agree. gaming is virtually all i do, i just hate today's systems, so if i play the games, i have to get them emulated on pc. the companies brought this piracy on themselves really..

2015 has a great line up.
Personally I'm glad I a Wii U.
The games I'm most looking forward to fro the big N are:

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Super Smash Bros U

Zelda U

You can go around calling consoles shit but really...
In reality as long as it's got the games you want for it that system is perfect for you.
Console wars aren't fun guys, get over it.

this aint a console war, it's an era of time war. no console in this gen is good. the game dev teams are responsible for the games, the console dev teams are responsible for the consoles. dont pretend they're the exact same people, even if they're from the same company.

and if they happen to be the same people anyway, we can just call them sega. they always made good games, but since their systems always had to be the first proper new thing of their corresponding generation, they sucked ass compared to all the other proper ones.

now look at them today. they dont even have consoles anymore. they just ally themselves primarily with microsoft, and hand off the occasional thing or two to nintendo.

this is why all consoles that exist today are doomed to die. also, they keep ripping each other's bad ideas off and applying them to their own systems, so they'll die even faster.

homebrew is NOT default.
I do not understand why you feel the need to personally insult me. I am pointing out that you can play GC games on Wii U. Regardless if it is default or not.

and i do not understand why you think taking advantage of people is okay. nor why you think a "fuck you" coming from me is anything more than a "shame on you." i toss that shit around even more lightly than other people here. if i wanted to insult someone i'd have to actually do something to them. and if i wanted to kill somebody, that wouldnt be enough, i'd have to destroy their very soul, burn their corpse, and piss on their grave in front of millions of viewers, and discredit their very memory by framing them for the actions of every world enemy who ever lived.

thank god for me not being the kind of person who is angered by anything on the face of this planet eh? i easily forgive anything you can possibly imagine in a world record's time.

as for my post's main point, i was trying to say "it has to have backward compatibility in it's default configuration, without you having to pay for anything other then itself to use it, if it's predecessor possesses that feature, for it to be good."

oh really? i've been telling everyone on this board all along, wii has bs motion sensor controls which i swear were based on the power glove with all it's imprecise actions, and mandate you use it as the default one instead of releasing it as a gimmick like lightgun games would have.
That is a matter of opinion though, yes it is a gimmick. Just like the Kinect and Playstation wand. But I will argue, the Wii sold gangbusters, targeting not just the hardcore market, but the casual market as well. It did really good for Nintendo and made them a lot of money.

So there was a high demand for the system, including the wiimote. If you look at the numbers, it tells the story. These game sails are my facts for the demand,

(as of April 2008)
Wii Sports - 81.64 million

Mario Kart Wii - 34.01 million

Just look at those sales numbers, insane to actually see it. And Wii Sports made heavy use of the Wiimote.

the wii at least has some backward compatibility with gc to compensate, but the wii u? nope. not by default anyway, you need to buy a goddamn adapter.
Wrong, there is a way for the Wii U to play GC games.

and it doesnt even play gc games anymore either.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=927094

i ask you a simple question? are players not entitled to the controller type they always felt comfortable with before? no says nintendo, it belongs to history, so let us do some lsd and come up with some batshit insane new way of incorporating a terribly failed idea in a way that we think will please the masses.
I think the only batshit insane ideas are coming from you padre, not Nintendo. Hell, we can use gamcube controllers and everything under the sun to play Smash Wii U.

must be a newer model then. the one i'm familiar with does not. sales mean nothing, as correlation does not imply causation. dirge of cerberus ff7 sold well but was not well recieved so i'm told. the same is probably overall true for the wii. and not everyone who plays wii and wii u is rich enough to go out and get their voice heard. folks poorer than i own wiis, but not even a pc.

also, keep in mind i did not ever buy a wii u and therefore have only seen the designs they released and their corresponding talk on what it could and would not be able to do before it came out.

no. the remote functioning inaccurately is not a matter of opinion.
