that's the same tablet I have too, but no, that didn't happen.

Ya know the white menu that comes up and the first choice is install tablet? I click that and it says loading program and nothing happens!! Ink shows up in the prefs, but not Pen Tablet and it's not in my folders either. So I tried dling the wacom software and it still did nothing. Like i said, it worked perfectly on my PC, but does nothing on my macbook pro. This is the first problem I've ever had with apple.

If it was installed, the tablet would work correctly. When I did it on the PC, an agreement came up like installing every other software/hardware and it gave me things to edit, and it worked straight from the disk provided, but on my mac...nope. It never loads.

So I posted some problems a few weeks ago. I have a new tablet, a bamboo fun and I use a Macbook Pro with OS X tiger, but it won't format!

I insert the disc and when I click install, it just says loading program info forever, and never formats :( It's not the tablet because it worked fine on my home PC which I tried after my mac.

So I dled the driver from the wacom site, and I'm really not sure what to do. what do I do with it? it's a bunch of folders of languages :( Here's a pic of what the driver looks like when I open it up. (btw, the package at the bottom that says install pen tablet...yeah, it does nothing at all when I click it. nothing)

To start on my comedy projects on newgrounds, releasing my first in less than a month, hopefully. Then work on my solo comedy, maybe animate some of my stand up comedy.

I hope to get a major part in a play at my school, huuuge ass role that will no doubt improve my acting.

I hope to be in even double as many flashes as I was as a voice actor, hopefully getting more popularity when I release my own schtuff. Improv, playwrights festival, open mic nights, and alllllll kinds of video challenges and other shit...it's going to be a huge semester...let alone...year :) I'm stoked, and ready to take it all on.

only if you have the driver installed, which will not install for me. I click on install and it shows up for a split second and then "unexpectedly quits" but it's getting quite expected......

here's what you do... TURN OFF your virus scanner when you install. That helped me when I installed it.

I dled stuff off of the wacom site and it was exactly what was in the program files of the disk, so that was a waste of time. All it showed me was a thousand different folders of different languages and then a file called pen tablet.pkg which did nothing if you clicked on it.

I really want to install this, so if someone can tell me how to disable all virus scanners on a mac, that'd be great. I haven't installed anything that doesn't just come ready on it, so I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks.

ok, I could do that. I'll have to take it to a friend's house because we have wacky internet here, so I can't get my macbook online, so I have to use my shitty dell desktop.

So I can download the drivers from the wacom site and THEN should I try to install it with the disk? Or will that take care of it? I appreciate the help guys. I just have huge plans, and I really want this baby fully installed.

and yes, Wacom makes the Bamboo and Bamboo fun. Bamboo Fun is $200 and it works great, I've used them before. They're smooth and such. For me, a tablets a tablet, and I'm not an amazing artist so I didn't want to dish a whole lot more for an Intuous.

yeah, it's definitely compatible. I says it has quit unexpectedly and I can either reopen and try again, cancel or report it, same thing it does if something like Firefox quits "unexpectedly."

It's a Macbook Pro that I got last summer before I went to college :( Never had any problems of any sort.

So I got a bamboo fun for xmas and that's awesome.

I can use it, but I want to install it so I can program it for pressure sensitivity and fit it to my screen and such.

I've got the installation disc but as soon as I run it, it pops up, and then says that "the application quit unexpectedly"

I'm using a macbook Pro. It says to shut down any virus protection before installing, but I can't seem to either figure out how to do that or figure out if I have any virus protection turned on...cause ya know...macs are macs.

Any ideas??? Who's got a Graphic Tablet on their mac??? Help me!!
