I have this really annoying problem with GIMP.

Every time I add text, I can't do anything else. The text just stays highlighted and I can't edit anything else. Anyone know the solution to this annoying problem? Please help, it's killing me.

Bass is not necessary. It is a backround music. If you can cover it up with a bit of distortion from a guitar, it'll be fine. Although the band will be melody based. Using a piano can work too. Or a Dj can easily cover that up. Bass is a not necessary, but it's a nice addition. The melodic guitar, drums, are necessary.
