Hum, I'm gonna ask this one time, then I'll just give up. I suck really bad at Fear Unlimited, so I'd need tips badly. I kinda figured by myself that the fastest/safest/easiest way to get rid of the common monsters is to pop 'em up in the air and crush them against the sidelevel while "flying" (how badly glitched is this game *sigh*). However, that's far from enough to get someone as bad at it as me to even pass the third level ... so thinking about earning badges is out of question for now.

I'm somehow able to deal with the bomb-deamons, but I'm very weak against any kind of monster that can block (let's take these guys with big red sword or the little reptile-like monster from the first level). How the heck am I supposed to crush 'em without getting a single hit ?

Damn ! Like if I needed something like that ! I'm already spending way too much time on these games ^^

Your best bet is to try to get the 24 bottles and the bat crazy medals in the same time at easy. Don't bother try to get the medal for losing no life at the same time (unless you are really good at that game ^^). Quite honestly, the key in this game is to take your time, which is espacially difficult since it's slow, long and you need to do it all over a lot of times, which makes you want to do it quick, which makes you make mistakes, which makes you start again. *sigh* :(

Hum yeah, I've got a question about Alkie Kong. In Wilo's page, it's stated that there are 2 bottles in the 14th level (the one right before the last boss). Unfortunately, I'm unable to find the second one ... and there's no mention of it in the walkthrough neither. That's bad 'cause it gets my total bottles to 23, pretty problematic, unless the last bottle is in the final level (which makes it three) ?

I'm currently working on a website which features a dynamic flash anim. It basically draws randomly a .swf from our server every time the previous one came to its end. There's a little challenge though. When I go to another page, I want the animation to restart from where it stopped. With a static animation it would've been rather easy to do, but since we're planing to do object oriented flashes, I'm not quite sure I'm able to figure out the lightest way to program it.

My plan, so far, is to "simulate" a timeline by calculating the lenght of the animation and deduct where would lead whatever point between the beginning and the end. Since I'll be using linear animations, I think it's possible to predict it. However, I'm going into something I'm not at ease with, so I'd really like an expert's opinion ...

Anyone can confirm my idea or suggest a better one ?

Actually, you might just have looked too fast. The format is CompuServe GIF. If it doesn't show, then it means you probably have done something that make your document impossible to save as a GIF. Even though I don't really know how you could do that, I think it's more probable than a Photoshop bug.

Your first equation was right, although the force can't be negative. What I mean is that your nail won't get hit by a -500 force, simply by 500 Newtons.

The rule is pretty damn simple. F (Newton) = Mass (Kilograms) * Acceleration (Meters/Seconds^2) ...

What Coop said is basically right, except for the fact that the level 30's base voting power is 10.00 (why 8.00 coop ? never heard of round numbers ? XD). So yes, depending on your own experience in comparaison with his, you'll have a base voting power, to which you'll get additionnal vp weight as you'll earn further badges. A new badge always get you an additionnal percent of voting power.

Exemple : since I've got a pretty high number of xp, my base voting power is 7.97. Also, since I've been b/ping a lot in the past years, I've reached the Elite Guard General badge, which gives me an additionnal 55% of vp ... so it boosts my vp up to 12.35 (kickass isn't it ? [/bighead])

I think everyone got that and answered to your idea considering what it concerned. But I can hardly think of anyone noobier than you around though.

Look, the main problem is that most of the Wi/Ht regular are around for a very long time. They know the rule pretty good and part of their task is to explain it. Obviously, nobody likes to get told how to do stuff by someone who knows less about it. I don't really agree with that way, but it's definitely how it works.

So, since you're pretty new, even though you have good intention, people aren't really likely to listen much to you. Also, you're definitely not the most qualified person to make a Wi/Ht guideline. Even though your is okay, it's nothing really exceptionnal and doesn't take in consideration some very important sides of the board, so it doesn't make it really worthy ...
