The media as a whole is just about as biased as your level of educational enlightenment allows it to be. If you have enough common sense to deduce the actual reasoning behind any world, continental, or local politics, you have enough common sense to listen or to watch a newscast and get the facts about what's actually being done, where public funds are being sent, and who's in charge of what projects.
No sensible voter should be without his own research and analytical strategy. Read Glomph's post to get an idea of how to watch the news and still keep your head.

Fox news counteracts a slight liberal bias spread throughout the rest of the 24 hr news networks with as much conservative bias as would be required to keep it statistically "fair and balanced". Any variation of this argument is enough to give a FOX news devotee a minor stress headache.
