instead of making two posts i thought I would just make one.

cerrax is helping me but he has to get money to upgrade his stuff. So I need someone to help edit my podcast series.

I got most of the VA lines done already for the first episode.

If you need sound fx i can find them. Along wth any mood music that is needed.

I can find an irish jig but I thought it might be nice to use soemthing one of you has created.

Just link me your stuff. Its for the end credits.

Thanks much.

I'm open to trying the techno. Personally I like the grand sweeping stuff like the starwars theme or indiana Jones, but thats probably too hard to get with out a symphony.

Love Celtic.

Also some ideas or suggestions. Think I should have some one say the tales of Ayla? Or some such. Usually if its visual you dont need any talking parts. But since one cant see a pod cast, I was thinking I might need a little something.

Any suggestions?

Topic: V/A for podcast series.

Posted: 08/02/06 02:53 AM

Forum: Audio

Ive finally decided to turn some stories I've been sitting on for two years, into weekly podcasts.

These are stories about a girl named Ayla, living in midevil times (not historical just theme) and her adventures.

www.turtlelightcomics.com is my site and if you click on Ayla on the right you will see a sumation of the first story and an artists rendering of Ayla.

Send auditions to gem7777777@yahoo.com For some reason the files dont work when I try to play them from putfile.com.

But for now I need

Narrator: Steady even voice. All ages. Even adolecent. English accent a plus . ^_^ but not required. Heh. Girl or guy is fine. Looking for the quality of the voice.

Try out lines: (not actual lines in the story but I made them up for you to audition to.)

Narrator: Here we see Ayla and Raven walking along in a meadow. Chancey, Raven's pet bird, has joined them. Ayla and Raven look up at him. Oh no Chancey look out, thats a..... tree. Raven and Ayla look conserned. Chancey looks rather dazed.

Melissa: Ayla's arch nemesis. Equivelent of the school bully. She's confident and arrogant. And a real pain in Aylas booty. She's 16-18 same as Ayla and is beautiful. If you try out you need to be able to put distain in your voice as she likes to plague Ayla and look down on her.

Mellissa's tryout lines.

Melissa: Well look at what we have here. Nice dress Ayla. What rag bag did you get that out of. If you hit me I'm going to tell my father on you.

Uncle Haas: Wise, good natured uncle of Ayla. Well read and helps Ayla in her time of need. He's 40ish.

Audition lines.

Uncle Haas: What's that you say Ayla? Hagatha has brought death and destruction on the whole town because of her potion? I think I know who might be able to help.

Melissa's friends-- friends of melissa. Also 16 and pretty and jerky. You can do both melissa and one of the friends if you like. Just needs to be a disction between the two.

Try out lines: Hey, here comes Ayla, lets have some fun with her.
She's a nobody, lets go somewhere else.

Hagatha: One of the main villians of the story. She hungers for fame and recognition for her magic abilities. Thing is shes a bumbler who pretty much sits in the shadow of another more powerful Wizard. Hard as she tries to do cool things, she always seems to muck them up. Old old lady, in her 60's. Sort of a comical buffon by accident. Can be a guy or a girl who tries out. Just don't want it to sound too much like a guy whos trying to do a chicks voice. ^_^

Tryout lines: At last, he's gone! Now I can finish my potion and finally get the recognition I deserve! They will be begging for this stuff when they learn what it is!

Joshua: Comes later in the story. Head of monk monistary. Wise, gentle but firm. Almost like a king.

Joshua:(Conserned) Sounds like she's been up to her old tricks. We will have to see what we can do.

I will wait a week or so to let everyone have a chance that wants to apply.

Thanks much.

woof almost done with my first flash movie. Damn this stuff takes a long time. =D

Was looking for someone good at tweening. Knowing a little action script would be nice.

You dont have to worry about the sound track or drawing the symbols. I'll put all that together.

I just need someone , whos good of coarse, to take the bits and tween animate it according to the script along with the sound track.

Its just for fun so depending on the quality, I'd be willing to chip in about 20$ USD or so per movie. I hate pay pal. I pay via money order. When its DONE.

I dont write hideously long scripts so would like to get movie done in about 2 weeks or so.

Im just too busy and a wee bit impatient. Heh.

Would like to work on a continueous basis, not just one movie. ^_^

PM or email.

That is all. Thank ye. Carry on.

Oh yes. Need samples of your work. Link sites or have some in your newgrounds account.

Getting error message.

first line: checkload: first frame actions:
_root.stop();

PercentLoaded = _root.getBytesLoaded() / _root.getBytesTotal() * 100;

if (PercentLoaded != 100) {
setProperty (bar, _xscale, PercentLoaded);

Working on my flash. Trying to put sound on it.

I have the file on my library on the flash software.

I'm following a tutorial, says open the library cntl+l. Check.

Then chose the frame you want it to start on, Check.

Then it says open the options menu. Where is the menu? This the one you get right clicking?

Or is it across the top?

Need a little help with stringing bits together. Like taking a piece from one file and putting it on the file I want. Pretty much putting start and stop markers on the section I want from one file yes? Then pasting on the file I want to put it on yes?

TIA
