How often do I get to request something for free?

From what I can see, the troll looks a bit flat. There isn't alot of lighting which further defines his shape. There are the basic highlighs and shadows, creating borders between the different elements of the character, like shoulder and shoulder plate or at the abdominal muscles, but thats about as far as it goes.

Thanks a lot Bazooka! You've been particularly helpful since you've managed to give me an area that I need to work on, and that is lighting. Thanks. And yes, you're completely right, clothing shouldn't merge into skin, I'll look into that in future works.

Hello fellow artists! I've recently started drawing again thanks to discovering Jazza and I want to improve my technique to the best of my abilities.

Attached is my rendition of a Warcraft troll, which I did for a friend. I also took this as a test for myself, giving it the best I could. Anyways, I am fully aware that this is far from good and I'd like some criticism so that I can improve, since although I know it needs to be worked upon, I have no idea where to start.
