Draw a cyborg cowboy riding a mechanical horse in space. Make it colored if you want a challenge.

I will try to give you the best advice I can. I apologise for any spelling errors in advance.
From what I can see, the troll looks a bit flat. There isn't alot of lighting which further defines his shape. There are the basic highlighs and shadows, creating borders between the different elements of the character, like shoulder and shoulder plate or at the abdominal muscles, but thats about as far as it goes.
I hope this rather lenghty critique is going to help you in some way. If you have more questions, feel free to notify me. I'd be happy to help.
Thanks a lot Bazooka! You've been particularly helpful since you've managed to give me an area that I need to work on, and that is lighting. Thanks. And yes, you're completely right, clothing shouldn't merge into skin, I'll look into that in future works.
Thank you very much for the advice, I'll try it in my next piece :)
Hello fellow artists! I've recently started drawing again thanks to discovering Jazza and I want to improve my technique to the best of my abilities.
Attached is my rendition of a Warcraft troll, which I did for a friend. I also took this as a test for myself, giving it the best I could. Anyways, I am fully aware that this is far from good and I'd like some criticism so that I can improve, since although I know it needs to be worked upon, I have no idea where to start.
Thank you all and I wish you have a bright 2014!
