So.. That doesn't really answer any of my questions lol But thank you. I understand that it isn't easy. Although I did figure out how to make animations on flash in about A day, so I'm sure with abit of time to make one game wouldn't take FOREVER but it would take alot of work and learning.
But what are the ways to making an online game? Does it NEED a server or can you simply host it from your own computer, or what?

Ok so if i want to make a 2D platform game that can be played across the internet what's the best way to go about it?
I've heard different things. Like i need to have a server or I can just play computer to computer. But is flash the easiest way to go about this or should i use a different program for trying to make a game such as this?
Mind you I'm noob at game making, novelist at animation.
But I do want to make this one game and I'd like to be able to at least have 1vs1 online game play at the very least.
