Well thats because we just intended for the Japanese Americans to not give away info, so we just kept them in camps, rather then slaughtering millions, IMO those two aren't that comparable, to say that its in equivlant is just way out of propotion. Furthermore, the Japanese killed 7 million Chinese Civilians intentionally (like for hate and the like) thats 1 million more then how many Jews Hitler killed, so this would be like victimizing the Germans because the Allies did heavy bombardment of there cites and the like (IIRC it was the equivalent of 7 atom bombs).

Just an FYI, about 5-6 million non-jews were killed during the holocaust or various reasons. I don't think putting people into camps was at all justified though, most of them were american citizens and had been living in the country for decades, there was no risk of them doing anything but helping to server their country like everyone else.

Don't know if it's a phobia but I freak out horribly whenever I'm pinned under something and can't move, like I can be in a small place just fine(under a bed, in a closet) but if I'm like stuck under something heavy I get really scared.

Luckily it doesn't come up that much.

After the first bomb was dropped the Japanese government proceeded to try and contain the information, it was when the second bomb was dropped that they realized they would be doomed if they continued fighting so they ended the war.

Atheists readily accept that it is impossible to disprove god.

Right, it's up to the believers to prove him, I can currently see no pink unicorns anywhere so if someone wants to tell me they exist they better have some proof.

And you have once again proven yourself to be nothing but rant and insult. Science has been PROVEN WRONG countless times, "sir".

Saying science is wrong doesn't really mean anything, and by that I mean that your sentence literally has no meaning science is generally defined as "a branch of knowledge or study dealing with a body of facts or truths systematically arranged and showing the operation of general laws", your statement there just makes no grammatical sense.

Your little god of science has you fooled! The writers of the Bible knew the Earth was round before "science" did.

God of science, and I know I've heard that before but if your going to bring it up you should throw out the bible passages as "proof".

The writers of the Bible knew that molecules, bacteria, and planets existed.

Again, prove the passages.

Oh, but you overlook that right? You can only prove your theory with your theory!

Which theory(specific or general) is he trying to prove with another theory?

"Oil takes a million years to form". Wow. So that number is just an estimate based on other estimates?

No it's not and unless you bring some real reasons otherwise it's not a point of debate either.

That's not science, that's idiocy! As for your "millions of scientists studying this", they did the same thing with the geocentric theory. *GASP*!!! Science was wrong for once?!

Science is not some fucking guy in an office, it's the compendium of human knowledge.

Before you say that this is all speculative, this is already happening right now. NVidia has gotten in bed with many gaming companies to produce extremely graphics-intensive games to encourage people to buy new graphics cards.

I just felt that this section you wrote had to be brought up, whats the assumption here? That game developers are purposefully making games that run badly without top of the line nividia cards to pressure consumers into buying them? that dosen't make any sense. A fair number of PC games are playable on an xbox or PS3 which have hardware that is a few years old by now.

Some of the OP just sounds like conspiracy theroy to me bu that section I quoted just seemed to really be made of BS.

Didn't Ghandi go into a hunger strike, thus threatening to kill himself?

How is Gandhi not eating a measure of revolutionary violence? The person I quoted suggested that poisoning water reserves is one of the basic things that should be done during a revolution.

My belife is that in general killing lots of people because your angry or want freedom without actually thinking about what your doing dose not work out well.

But then again, is there any single act of 'peaceful protest' that has a big impact. Carrying signs on itself is pretty useless, such is walking around through the city. It's the combined effort that matters. Burning a flag out of protest indicates that you are not satisfied with the way the country is at the point, enough to symbolically denounce your citizenship.

The only single acts to get attention is violent demands, bombing stuff, blocking roads, poisoning rivers or if you're up to a humane society, threatening to kill yourself.

Yeah I agree, if all the Indians had just picked up guns and started trying to kill British soldiers then India wouldn't still be controlled by British trade Corporation. Oh wait!

Though I do agree that most people don't really care about flag burning.

I'm thinking about getting an RTS since I don't really have any at the moment and I was thinking about these two games. I'm leaning towards AoE3 since I've played the second game and liked it and this looks better but I'm also a plan of warcraft in general and I know that we mods like DotA and TD buying warcraft 3 is kinda like buying 3 guys.

So which game do you like and why?
