You, fuck you. Oh yes, if the thing you're talking about is drawn in flash, shouldnt you change the bg color to white or the color matching the site's bg?

First click on stage
Then look around at the bottom where it should say bg color...

If that's not the case then nvm.

Well... a good collab would take months, and then after that would be the exporting time when all the parts are put together, so it'd probably be about months to a year.

I know what you mean, just look at my characters, all have the same head shape and everything.

This is not meant to be funny, so leave it at that shall we mister dark_spark? Nice job... too bad there's no debris, just a dirt ring and a dirt cloud. You know, when dirt gets blown up, chunks of it actually fly up and then a second pause, a bunch of dirt comes raining back. I don't know if that's real but I like the effect.

Nice dirt boom anyway though.

Okay, sorry if this is a newbish question but yeah... is there any way to say, push a button and skip 2 frames using something similar to:

on(release) {
_root.prevFrame();
}

?

Response to: 5mb hosting?! Posted June 26th, 2006 in Game Development

It always goes to one of those "action cancelled" pages. Don't know why, but it's pissing me off. What I need to find is a way to embed a 5mb file, and it's very complicated to find a site that hosts that kind of thing.

Reason: I made a media player for my sister and she wants it on her myspace.

Don't ask why she has one.
Response to: 5mb hosting?! Posted June 26th, 2006 in Game Development

By the way, I've already tried searching "image hosting", "swf hosting", many other hosting combos, and I'm not puttin it on youtube because it'll have an annoying water mark, and putfile won't let me register! And the watermarks is annoying because the file is only 290 x 84 pixels.

5mb hosting?! Posted June 26th, 2006 in Game Development

Okay, I have made an swf thats 4.44 mb in size, and now i want to upload it. Not that, but also be able to put the file on a web page. I can't find any hosting sites that hold swfs and 5mb at the same time! Denvish doesn't work neither, it tells me the size is too large! Anyone got any helpful links?

Newbie question Posted June 25th, 2006 in Game Development

Okay, I know that stuff offstage won't be shown, but would parts that are off stage still be drawn? As in, if they were off stage would they still be there to affect the performance of the animation? If they do, how do I make it so stuff off stage is not drawn?

Response to: Stupid kid needs help with flash Posted June 25th, 2006 in Game Development

To do a tween, you'd have to make different layers, it's alot easier to do frame by frame with stickmen. But if you do tweening, you'd need 2 layers for each arm, 2 layers for each leg, a layer for the head, and a layer for the body. Also you'd need to make them symbols.
