Yep, and i miss it, too. I bought hosting for them. Unfortunately i got busy and couldnt finish the main site. By the time i got back, it was gone.

I was actually woken up, and called to the living room to watch it ... i think it was live, not sure. I was 12 and home from school, and didnt know why until i was called to the living room at 9 am, instead of 6 am.

I would have went all out, and told the coach shes gonna have to learn to advance. Sometimes coaches are retarded.

Im going to have to disagree with that. Im only 21, and my parents are 44 and 54, but im so much smarter than them. I can explain things to my dad, give references, and hell take it ot heart and learn. However, my mom will say im wrong no matter how much i prove myself. There was an issue where I was doing a better job parenting than they were, and instead of accepting my advice, considering my brother and sister acted alot better when i was in charge, she kicked me out of the house during my christmas visit. If my parents are so much smarter because theyve lived longer, i guess everyone under 44 belongs in remedial classes on life?

There have been child geniuses who were born from parents with average intelligence. The child graduates college before they are even 18, and their parents are in their 20s, 30s, etc. I get told, very often, infact, that i have a knowledge base most people have in their 80s and beyond, when theyve lived life, and learned that way.

I would like to point out that there's a general misconception in the B/P habits of alot of NG members. Take me for instance, who has more blam than protect points. While i only have about 1800 B/P points total, 1k+ are blams, while only 800 or so are saves. Think of that pattern going until i end up with 30k points, and say my blam to protect ratio was the same. Its not a sign that i spam 0 on submissions, as a matter of fact, its the opposite. I grade flashes based on quality of the artwork, depth of the plot, and the quality of the sound and how well it meshes with the environment of the graphics. I take the time to watch the flashes, and see if they are of presentable quality or not, and alot of the ones i see arent fit to be on NG. I have noticed throughout the years, the number of blammed flashes per day has gone down at least 20%. Its not that people are submitting less crap, its that people dont grade them on a sensible scale, or they dont even grade them at all, they just want points. I have to agree with Narcissy about there only being a blam and protect button when a flash is under judgement, and that the votes are logged based on account name, since some people log on with different IPs.

They should allow users to flag a review based on different things, like you can do when you whistle flashes. The rules, help/faq, and NGPD Central forums have been viewable by guests to the site, in this case the apprentices, since i came back to the NGPD back in January. I thought in the same way you did SheizenHammer, i realized it would be beneficial for apprentices to have a knowledgeable start to their apprenticeship, and if it came to it, membership, in hopes that such problems would not arise in the first place. I do realize, however that some people cause trouble whether they know the rules or not, or even just to be a nuisance, so there is no excuse to be ignorant to the rules, and the general discussions of how to interact within this club, from the day they become apprentices.

Tails, lets just let the problems end there, no more posts on it, just enforce the rule you put somewhere in this topic, about how people who cause problems or post here in a way that has nothing relevant to the portal or another relevant part of NG, would be dealt with immediately if they get out of line, up to and including abrupt discharge for breaking the rules. That kind of post, while yes we all understand it is frustrating, only gives the mods more of a reason to lock this topic. Dust this off and try again, theres nothing wrong with having a no BS policy thats strictly enforced.

Just extract them into a folder, and run the file named SonicClassic just like you would any other executable file. It just looks intimidating since there are some fan made games and emulators you have to put together piece by piece. While that practice is alot less common nowadays, its possible it still happens.

Actually, they did not get my permission to do so at all. People just went ahead and made one, a fact which I am still quite irked about. I know you guys were trying to improve the NGPD, but there's a thing called a chain of command and it must be respected.

My apologies for my assumption, then. I didn't think they'd just up and do things without so much as a vague yes. Should i cook up an interface, or just let it be for now? I can amke it so all an admin would have to do is copy and paste the coding into the logo area of the forum. there are chats out there that will not reset the page when you go to different pages in the website, so you wont have to login everytime you go to a new page. Since I may or may not be active come time when you decide to allow another chat, if you ever do, i ask you let me cook something up, and give it to you ahead of time, so if the chat becoems an option again you wont have to try to figure out the coding stuff if you dont want to.

As for the chat, i will cook something up but only present it to Tails if he says its ok. After my first absence, i created the private forums, and was given permission to be the Tech Admin for the NGPD forums, and the site, if Tails ever needed help maintaining it. As the Tech Admin, i have permission to make decisions about how to implement various parts of the forum, site, etc, in a way that best serves the community. With such in mind, i am taking it upon myself to give tails the chance to have total control over the chat, that way theres no way anyone but tails, or anyone he designates, will have ANY control over it whatsoever. I will even refrain from doing anything but coding unless told otherwise by tails.

NGRE as much as we all appreciate the time and effort you put into the chat, the only reason you were hosting it is because you got it up and running first, but technically thats my job in the first place. tails did give you the go ahead to make an NGPD chat and host it, but with all the events that took place, and your incorrect view of just how much longevity and good standing here DO matter, I am taking control of the matter until either the chat is fully completed, or Tails says to cut the project for now.

Yes... Years ago. Opinions change. People change. Situations change. If Tails says you can't do something, instead of saying "But you said I could do it years ago!" ask him about it, and his decision. There's no need in bringing up the past.

Actually i mentioned the fact he gave me permission to do as i saw fit in terms of coding all that time ago, he just said "has it really been that long?" Interpret that as you will but if Tails really wanted me to stop he would have said so again at that point.

If i delete the button images, the buttons will still be present as text. As for the issue with the double forums, thats being worked on by the Zetaboards staff.

The 3 posts i left that were deleted are currently being discussed by tails and i. I respect tails as a smart and capable individual, its just some of the things ive been told throughout the years, werent being mirrors by the heated conversations weve all been having, however tails and i have decided to just let it all go and move on.
