Dumbass comment of the century there. Let's see. America cons other countries into accepting loans, which those countries can never pay off. In return, America gets all those countries' resources. So even though I'd say 999/1000 mouthfuls of food eaten in America are unnecessary, America still wants to build its empire up even more.
If you don't want to believe about America's plans to build an empire, so only America benefits, I can see why and that's fine. So let's talk indisputable economics.
Economies of scale allow huge corporations to get food (and other goods) in MASS from foreign countries, such as Africa. This is at incredibly cheap prices, because the foreign workers have no choice. This is the only chance of making money they have.
And thus, this is why you have such ridiculously cheap goods at Wal-Mart and why America has basically all the goods it needs, whilst foreign companies have nothing.

Seventh, other countries are starving because they can't afford those items to begin with. This world, sadly, is built around money. A lot of third world countries are over crowded (see point 1) and there is little land to grow crops, or the land they do have isn't capable of growing crops.
They are starving because their foolish governments accept America's offers, only to be betrayed with huge loans they can't pay off. That is why we have terrorism today. 1/2 the world has already fallen to America's empire, and they want revenge.
Saddam Huessein, despite being a sick, demented freak, was one of the few smart enough to see what America was doing. This is the reason why Saddam is no longer in charge of Iraq , and why he is currently dead. If the government of a country refuses to hand America the resources, military invasion is the backup plan. And this is why we are at war with Iraq right now.
There is already enough food in the world to feed everyone. However, everyone (including world leaders) want money so they don't just give out food. Besides, you need meat for a truly healthy diet, not just fruits and vegetables.
